I wonder because any comment that is in favour of the new Sugababes is automatically slammed. You know, it's not a bloody crime to support the new Sugas. Yes, Keisha was an amazing vocalist (perhaps not as good live), and yes, it is a shame she's gone. However, people should at least give the new ones a chance, instead of automatically saying "Oh, Keisha's gone, these girls ain't worth listening to!"
Its not the fact that Keisha is gone, that they HATE the group... its the fact that they dare keep the original name, when none of the original members are left.
+ Their vocals now don't really blend as a group... Keisha had a group vocal which could be adapted for a solo artist... Jade has a solo voice, and over powers the other two... because she has a solo voice, she fails to harmonise with the other vocals, so it sounds like she is shouting... making it seem like Karaoke.
Go watch their live performance of "Santa Baby", all they do is harmonize in that song. And Heidi as original as they come. Siobhan never even wanted to be part of Sugababes she's mentioned in interviews.
This is one of the first songs from them I have liked in years. Good live performance. Much better than some of their previous ones where they just stood around.

Im from the USA, never heard Sugababes here....but from what I've seen this new line up is the sexiest.....and Jade is a much better singer than Keisha...I do prefer Mutya's vocals though....I think they should get rid of Heidi.

It was a nice performance but they sound so much better acoustically. Something was wrong with the sound.Amelle was a bit flat and it was because of the sound. Heidi was ok and Jade was alright too. They can do so much better and have done so much better. I still like them/.

I have heard 'Far Away'. In all honesty, it was a good vocal performance. Nothing more.
Keisha just doesn't have the chops to pull of what Jade can. She over-trills her way through songs to try an make up for her limited range. Not a good sound.

No, Mutya specifically said Jade has an "amazing voice" and that's why it would seem like the others are her backing singers. She even went on to liken the group to Diana Ross and The Supremes. The reason she said all this, was because this was never the case with 3.0.

Technically speaking, Keisha's not a powerhouse. The notes that Jade can belt and sustain live, would be difficult even for someone like Alex Burke (not that she can't), let alone Keisha.
Jade's voice is far from generic because not a lot of people can do what she can. Her voice is, however, very commercial sounding.
Keisha's voice is very distinct and specific. But, to me, is so specific to the point where a lot of people won't like it. This is where a commercial sounding voice comes in handy

This isn't Sugababes at all. "Sugababes On the Run" is a song which describes what the sugababes are supposed to be about. The fact that Heidi says that they won't sing One Touch songs, is cause she knows that her vocals aren't good enough to sing Siobhan's. Amelle sounds to slutty to be like Mutya and Jade can't sing harmonise with no-one. since Get Sexy was released, their lyrics have sucked so badly. Jade should've stayed solo. Yes, Keisha was an amazing vocalist (perhaps not as good live), and yes, it is a shame she's gone. Its not the fact that Keisha is gone, that they HATE the group... its the fact that they dare keep the original name, when none of the original members are left.
+ Their vocals now don't really blend as a group... Keisha had a group vocal which could be adapted for a solo artist... Jade has a solo voice, and over powers the other two... because she has a solo voice, she fails to harmonise with the other vocals, so it sounds like she is shouting... making it seem like Karaoke.

Im from the USA, never heard Sugababes here....but from what I've seen this new line up is the sexiest.....and Jade is a much better singer than Keisha...I do prefer Mutya's vocals though....I think they should get rid of Heidi.

It was a nice performance but they sound so much better acoustically. Something was wrong with the sound.Amelle was a bit flat and it was because of the sound. Heidi was ok and Jade was alright too. They can do so much better and have done so much better. I still like them/.

Well of course these girls won't sound as good singing those old songs, because those songs weren't tailored to their voices.
But even so, I think Jade pulls off Keisha's parts well, considering they were't written for her.
What I'd like to see is Keisha try to pull of Jade's songs as good as her. She would fail miserably.
I do like the Keisha/Mutya combination but I think the Jade/Amelle combo can rival that but with more range and potential.

I have heard 'Far Away'. In all honesty, it was a good vocal performance. Nothing more.
Keisha just doesn't have the chops to pull of what Jade can. She over-trills her way through songs to try an make up for her limited range. Not a good sound.
Keisha's a singer, Jade's a powerhouse. You're demented if you seriously think Keisha can outsing Jade.
And we've yet to see if Keisha has what it takes to stand the test of time. Lasting in a girl group for so long, doesn't prove a thing.

No, Mutya specifically said Jade has an "amazing voice" and that's why it would seem like the others are her backing singers. She even went on to liken the group to Diana Ross and The Supremes. The reason she said all this, was because this was never the case with 3.0.
Maybe I am being biased. But it's probably because I've always preferred the powerhouses over the vocalists.

Keisha is very Beautiful, I agree. But a lot of people would prefer Amelle more and I can see why.

When I say powerhouse, I'm talking about vocal powerhouses. Meaning, singers with huge voices.
I've always been drawn to them rather than regular vocalists. That's probably why I've never rated Keisha's singing.

Technically speaking, Keisha's not a powerhouse. The notes that Jade can belt and sustain live, would be difficult even for someone like Alex Burke (not that she can't), let alone Keisha.
Jade's voice is far from generic because not a lot of people can do what she can. Her voice is, however, very commercial sounding.
Keisha's voice is very distinct and specific. But, to me, is so specific to the point where a lot of people won't like it. This is where a commercial sounding voice comes in handy

Having a distinct voice isn't a bad thing. But when your aiming for the mass market, it can work against you.

Despite the constanjt line-up changes, the Sugababes still maintain their ethnic diversity. Siobhan (Irish), Mutya (Filipino/Irish), Keisha (Jamaican), Heidi (English), Amelle (Morrocan), Jade (Black/White)

I think they have a different presence i.e. they actually look happy and friends on a stage, where as with Mutya she always looked like she'd just been told off. I think Keisha is missed, but i think i think she'll have the most successful solo career of the former sugababes

the lineup now is so sexy. Amelle is a good and nice person with loads of fun; heidi is always sweet yet talkative; jade sings good. i like this lineup!! cant help wondering why pp are always complaining when they are given the best girlband in the world. And the babes have backup dancers since the RoundRound era, so it is nothing unusual about the sugababes! and by the way, the performance is so hot too!

My favorite line up will always be Keisha, Mutya and Siobhan. The ORIGINAL line up. Not saying that this line up is bad though.

This isn't Sugababes at all. "Sugababes On the Run" is a song which describes what the sugababes are supposed to be about. The fact that Heidi says that they won't sing One Touch songs, is cause she knows that her vocals aren't good enough to sing Siobhan's. Amelle sounds to slutty to be like Mutya and Jade can't sing harmonise with no-one. since Get Sexy was released, their lyrics have sucked so badly. Jade should've stayed solo. She can out sing the back up singers, but not in a band. SUGABABE

The sound system is crap here. They need crank up their mics and turn down the backing tapes, and they need to use their live band!! About a girl was wicked when they performed it in open air germany and midlands music festival!!

omg I can't really stand Jade... she can sing (I think sometimes even better than Amelle) but Heidi's soft and Keisha's strong voices make this band great. without Keisha they wouldn't ever be so good.

It was really out of tune. You can blame Amelle's flat singing for the disastrous singing!!! The line up should be Keisha, Jade and Heidi; Keisha, Mutya, Heidi of Keisha, Jade and Mutya!

first of all keisha has the money to look sexy because when she first started sugababes she was damn ugly!!!! secound of all i am not signed by any labels to have number ones so shut it !!! and she got those number ones with a lil help of her friends aka. her other two band members !!!!
