My Father was in intelligence and interrogated captured Nazi Officer. All he would tell me was it was never that hard to get info and he would never tell me what he got the medal for. In 2007 I found out. 3 years after he died. There are 10,000's of heroes that weren't on the front line but did their bit. My Dad was no different than the other 9,999 so I won;t say here what he got the medal for so you all think of those 10,000's!
@HardWarUK It can be quite easy sometimes to trick someone into spilling the beans, you just play with their minds and they're yours. Tourture was never an effictive way. And your right about what you said about those in the war.

My Grandfather was in the RAF and his job was to balance the propellers on Spitfires. Talk about a good job.
