This is a wonderful tribute to all the brave men & women who fought and died for our freedom. The sad part is, this fine video would probably not be welcome in many US schools because it would be considered as glorifying war. I dearly love my country, but I salute you, Canada, for your firmness of spirit and for having the backbone to honor your soldiers in the schools. Can you find it in your hearts to salute our heroes as well? God knows they need it right now.
They showed this on Friday..and it was just so beautiful..I cried..my friend's father may be going to Afganistan, so this video really got to me. It may be sad, but so gorgeous.
Same here. They showed this at my school to. After wards we did 2 minutes of silence. It just, almost makes you wanna cry. But our vetarins did a great thing, they stopped WW 1. But, I just love this song! It's so inspiritual. But I just love it! It take 2 minutes to remember what our vertarins did. Don't forget, we salute. =)
This is a REALLY good video. It is a lovely video with a very good song.My school had our Rememberence Day assembly and they showed us this video.I loved the song alot.So that is why I went to YouTube to find the video. Thanks for uploading it! this is a really good singer.
this is so heartwarming. I feel so sorry for that girl cause her dad didn't learn a thing in the beginning. But the end was nice cause the dad actually learned a thing for remembrance day.^.^
I'm not even canadian, and I just learned of Remembrance Day only 4 days ago when I was up in Canada for business. I loved this video, it made me cry, and I don't even live in your country - but this video not only applies to Canada, but the USA's veterans as well!
Cacille, 11th of November is for all the wars that the British Empire fought, with all the nations, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Rhodesia, India, Malasia, Canada. Eventhough the USA don't belong to the Common Wealth, this song also applies to the USA's veterans. My father, as a Rhodesian, fought in Europe, whom later kicked his country in the mouth. This is a fantastic song....
I love this video. It is my favourite on youtube. My grandfather died in WWII when my father was only 4 years old. It is performed by an East Coast Canadian. Absolutely essential to watch in this Remembrance Day week! It makes us all think a must watch!
Please for the sake of our veterans SHARE THIS VIDEO with everyone you can. We must never forget what they did for us. I have worked in retail and saw first hand those ungrateful people who do not understand what they sacrificed for us.
I loved it too. My grandfather died in WWII when my dad was only 4 years old. It sends a powerful message to our generation. I never get tired of watching it too! Everyone should watch it especially with remembrace day so close.
this music video is based off his own experience with some one who wanted to leave the grocery store as the 2 minutes of time announcement came out
