Hey maul0r, I'm a lvl 11 magus at the time being and I am starting to spec in changing, is that the best aoe path or is daemonology better? And what stats should I stack on the most?

changing is really useful. your main stats should be intel, wounds, and toughness, in that order.

Alright, my current armor should last me a bit longer then, I think I got a total of 32 int 22 wounds and 14 toughness including the talismans I made.

how does the magus getting a mount work? does it just make the disc faster?

it summons a faster disk to replace the old one. the guild mounts at lvl 37 look very cool.

i found out the flamer can hit grps of poepe with spells not really a aoe but kinda a shotgun spread if u know what im getting at

I heard that the Magus suck from loads of people in the Open Beta.I really want to play magus, so in your opinion are they as bad as people make them out to be? and moreso are they useful in groups? thanks :)

they don't suck nearly as badly. they get some beefy tactics and decent morale abilities. The pets aren't all that useful, but they make solid casters without them.

they can spec 2h so they have big damage potential for sure.

I wouldn't say mirror... but they're both stationary pet classes. the magus alone is a solid caster, and honestly doesn't NEED a pet. while the engineer is a solid ranged dps and doesn't NEED a pet either.

Where do you get your gear from, I'm a 11 chosen, renown lvl 10 chosen, only piece i can get from keeps are in tier 2 are the boots?.

most of my gear is actually from influence and drops. the helm and shoulders were a lucky drop actually.

And 1 question more. HAve you ever seen Black Orcs, with 2 handers? Or is best in genereal to play BO with an shield, cause u will live longer in PvP?

I'va seen them with two handers... and one of their specs is for two handers... so you'll be ok if you want to use them

magus pets still can't move, it's part of the lore. they are similar to the engineer in this respect.

uh. straight forward? meaning what exactly? if your looking for least complicated I dont think many people would like you very much as a tank class, but the sorceress is a flat out dps class who's only purpose is to nuke, and I guess the runner up would be zealot, because he is the most "healbot" type of healer on the destruction side, with the goblin shaman at a close third.
