GTA 4 had better graphics, the physics engine (way pedestrians react to getting hit) is superior, and the multiplayer is so Epic.

San Andreas has a story 10,000 times more fun than GTA 4, the missions are waaaay better, and so many little things (like vigilante missions, parachutes, fun cheats, satchel charges, gambling etc.) that make it so fun.
