There's not much in the way of a "living wage" anymore. I might make enough money to own a computer, a car, and rent an apartment in NYC, but many of my fellow New Yorkers aren't as lucky. There's not much in the way of a "living wage" anymore. I might make enough money to own a computer, a car, and rent an apartment in NYC, but many of my fellow New Yorkers aren't as lucky. True I may have a good retail management job, but jobs altogether are rather limited. In NYC, getting paid $10 an hour isn't going to feed your and your kids, or pay your rent and bills.
