There is no such thing as a "GOOD" version of this song because the song itself is a piece of artistic TRASH!! From the lyrics to the melody. I believe Malvina wrote it to be a children's song; I had to (and I mean was MADE TO) sing this when I was in 2nd grade in '64. HEY MALVINA!!! I DIDN'T GET IT AS A KID, DON'T CARE ABOUT IT NOW!!! That's the beauty of the Rise Against cover. Any good band knows that if you do a parody of a song, you do it in -your- style, not -their- style. The artist that made the song already perfected it in their style.

However Rise Against' version starts out soft then starts to ramp up as it gets more serious. The way they do it is pleasing in my ears and it's the style that they play.
