It all depends on the preferences that the monsters are set on. For example, I fought a mini HR9 Black Diablos, that bastard could one shot anyone because he had "JUMP" strength. That means that it was on the highest power level. Not only that but it can have more life, and such. These two are not above average strength. Just go get hit by a Tigrex in rage mode. It's take out 3/4 of your health with a charge.

How do you get the HP hack to work with freecheat/darkcheat? It only stays there when I press and hold on to L + Select, then disappears when I don't. It works on cwcheat perfectly fine, but not freecheat and darkcheat. Would have turned cwcheat on with one of the other two if I could but that crashes my game. :(

switch from hammer to long sword, use the devil slicer. also itd make it easier to use lots of traps and bombs to blow the hell out of him and then focus with your sword. i personally cant rely on hammers, they are incredible weapons but i prefer the speed and agility of a long sword

hmm well truth be told that doesnt kick in all the time, its a good ability but i do just fine without any form of outside protection. when i was fighting HR3 tigrex the armor i used was i believe a mosh of different armors.. by that time i had gone on harder quests with friends of mine and gotten black diablos stuff.. your current armor should be fine for now, but id suggest bringing mega potions and herbs and blue mushrooms to combine to make backup potions

I know it increases the monsters damage by 30% 20% of the time. Or the other way around I always carry blue mushrooms mega potions herbs trap tools genprey fangs honey ext. the problem for me was rage mode. I have monster hunter freedom unite and i'm at level eight quests with the cat. Purse bop does 1040 raw and 200 thunder attribute. it's also got blue sharpness. I just HATE tigerex.

hmm, hammers are powerful but as i stated before, LS is just more maneuverable for me, but to each his own. ANYWAY! the best strategy for fighting tigrex rage, as im sure you know is to circle it and avoid all damager possible and go in when he gives a major opening. well have you thought of raising your felynes level so he can help you? mine is currently level 20 with 252 attk and 250 def. they are really helpful when powerful. but mine bombs me all the time breaking my openings..

Mine is level 19 he has the shock trap skill,true health flute and element attack dragon. I'm good with LS too but the hammer is good enough. Elder is super easy. The desert is easier. I always get cornered in the snowy mountains. Thats the problem in rage mode. I know only to attack after he jumps twice in rage mode but I get cornered all the time, even when I try to stay away from the edges of the zone. Tigerex is the one monster that I've fought so far that I've had this much trouble with.

hmm i chose demon flute over health flute, its just an easier way for me to kill things xD plus i upped his attack and gave him fall7x get up 8x which doubles his attack each time he faints.

as for avoiding him have you tried in area six climbing up onto the ledge between the ways that lead to areas 5 and 7? cuz hell chase you if your on it but he wont be able to hit you with anything if hes right at the foot of it. you can take that time to heal and stuff

I do when I need to. I use mega demon drug and mega armorskin for tigrex. I also eat kirin cheese and goldenfishbrew at the felyne kitchem for full health and stamina. I'll try the demon flute for my felyne, see if it helps. I also recently got the shell castonet HH. It's go the same stats as my hammer, anly it has water attribute. It can howerver increase my attack(high), stop my stamina from decreasing(high) and increase my movement speed.

ive never needed demondrugs or armorskins for him. and for the kitchen i eat dragon tail/head and fatty tomato for full health boost and attack up (high) perhaps the HH will help you a lot more, because they are basically hammers with buffs.
