  • I think Alistair Darling's hands were pretty much tied by Gordon Brown.

If you want to blame someone for where we are now, blame Gordon Brown.

The guy sold the nation's gold for a pittance and then bought euros, dollars and yen. Traitor.

  • "We've prevented Britain from becoming a depression"

Dick head. Most of Britian is depressed!!

These tossers do nothing what so ever to help the people. We're all skint, so whats their answer. You try and find a job and all you get is barriers from the DWP for example on what you are entilted too etc and cost of fuel . They spend all their funds on fucking foreign aid, immigrants in this country,

  • Jeremy is really horrible in this interview, you can feel it all the way through, never smiles, seems as though he's really genuinely peed off with Darling.

  • LOL Police Sirens in the background from 6:37

  • I would have laughed at Alistair Clown Darling had I not known that almost 1 in 3 Britons will vote for him again this spring. Have you noticed that he has forgotten some of his lines? Seems like he hadn't exercised his lines so he wasn't well prepared for that day's show

  • It's growth Jim....but not as we know it.

  • @quinndexter Second bubble about to pop! Euro zone going down the tubes. Quantative easing has failed.

  • @quinndexter I think I remember the mainstream news repeating the Financial services mantra in 2008 that; 'when America catches a cold it doesnt mean the UK sneezes'. That seems to have been a false premise now. The American housing market is getting worse and not better and that spells further problems for our economy in the near future! Hold on tight!

  • Yeah I remember that. And I also remember laughing at it because brown always said our problems started in the US...etc.

I still cannot believe the figures here that state the housing market is rising again. I'm waiting for the big egg to descend on brown and darling!!!

  • @quinndexter I dont believe the housing market is growing again. I was working on a new three bedroomed house in Northamptonshire the other day and the lady bought it in December 2009 for £142 000, with all the extras and when it was first advertised it was up for £175 000. Does that sound like a recovery to you. The sample of sold houses is so small that the figures are generally meaningless!

  • @quinndexter I have a brother in law who works for Ernst and young and he tells me that a second batch of subprime morgages as big as the first batch in number are up to the end of their fixed terms in 2010. So another cold is on the way in the states, so I wonder if we sneeze this time!

  • This country is the Soviet Union but most of us

    speak English.

We are owned by the Globalist Criminal Cabal.

This "government" is filled with puppets doing the bidding of the Elite.

    A charade. A masquerade.

  • @vacinestoxic .I say the same. This is Soviet Britian. Greedy corrupt politicians, increase in crime, talking of rationing gas etc, people on the poverty line......I might as well move to Russia......at least the girls are hot, even if the weather isn't...

  • @v8cool1 At least the girls are hot. LOL That would be some consolation.

  • how can any one take him seriously with his eyebrows

  • we're not out of recession

  • I quite like badger.. pity he threw in with Blair and Brown.

  • Give me a break, most of you commenting here were singing to yourself the lyrics to D'Reems' "Things can only get better" and dreaming of being at No10 at that moment in 1997 when Tony and Cherie walked up Whitehall to their new home. The hypocrisy of a lot of you is revolting. You voted New Labour now accept the price.

  • hey doody i have never voted i saw through the bullshit election 'system' before i left junior school so your wild assumptions are way off the mark

    peace

  • come on lp you could have put a blink counter on this would have been hilarious ding ding ding ding ding ding lol

  • Darling is wrong that if we follow the future trends the economy will be torn apart by carbon reduction/ TAX and rising energy costs. Lest we forget any future anti democratic government will be importing more immigrants and asylums seekers.

  • Pure lies and Paxman doesn't ask the right questions. 'Critical questioning' of uncritical questions. 5:33 - this isn't recovery or growth, its just incurring debt at the expense of unborn generations.
