this video review DEFINES what the movie asks us. it's like religion and politics. Josh is so strong on his views on "of course, you take the child back to her rightful mom" but others would strongly state, "are you crazy? that mom is HORRIBLE and the daughter would have had a horrible life. you leave her be" and there would be no way to convince either person otherwise. did that make sense???
Most child abduction films are about money? I think just as many are about crazy kidnappers with misguided political/religious/social agendas...like this movie.
Funny review as always. Curious. What version of Dennis Hopper, exactly, would you be comfortable with abducting your child? If I had a child, I would try my best to raise them ignorant of Dennis Hopper's existence until he/she was an adult.

Josh is wrong. This isn't the generic child abduction film. It has a different twist to it. It's not all about money.
