Sure, some level of medical care is humane. I'd be willing for my taxes to give the poor charity care in the county hospital and public outpatient clinics. But screwing up the coverage I earned and pay for is a completely wrong and unnecessary. Public handouts only go so far.

We use common sense. No anti-trust exempt socialistic health insurance corporation should be making profits based on the illness and disease of the American people.

If Government controlled health care the American tax payer would demand cures for the diseases that plague Americans and the world today.

Private health care corporations only make profits when you suffer. They have no incentive to eliminate disease.

Where do you draw the line? Is the government then responsible to provide each citizen with food, shelter, clothing? How about self-esteem? How much do you give someone before you begin to spoil them and the giving is detrimental?
