  • Awesome! I love it!

  • It's ridiculous how society is forcing women to breast feed their child in private. Why the hell is nursing your own off-spring taboo? And what I really don't get is they're Christians that think it's taboo too.

  • discretely and no one will even see sometimes will think your just cuddling of somethingdon't want it do be a big thing about it don't make it one those things look cool and easy

  • SO NASTY! CANT YOU DO THIS TITTY FEEDING IN PRIVATE? YOU LOOK LIKE A WALKING HOG TROUGH!

  • this video is amazing!! thanks for posting this!!

  • "Nobody can see it" ...

    Americans...

You should come a little down to Central America XD

I see it even in Stores, 2 at the same time, up side down etc etc XD

    anyways...What culture is...uff.

Take it as a tip if you plan to do some tourism with your baby...you will call 3 times more people atention breastfeeding with that than holding your baby bla bla bla. Cultures...something singular. Thank You anyways, this give me an idea of how people see this up there ( and how to BF in America) ^^

    Bless

  • What a beautiful baby! Those blue eyes are gorgeous!!

  • Thats great and cheaper too seen as you do not need to go find a cafe to go sit and drink something that costs you a fortune and then the ugly stares from some people too. Thanks for uploading where can I buy this amazing carrier :)

  • Maybe she's trying to show other women how they can discreetly nurse in public? a duh?

  • haha I love this .I need one of those

  • I need to get one 4 me

  • Peace on Earth personified, in public. Nicely done! Close to your baby and getting along with your day too. That is some quality-multi-tasking...

Permaculture Design is creating beneficial connections and you have shown a great example, plus "stacking functions" as well!! Delightful. Mahalo/Thank you~Claire

  • pretty blue eyes!!!!!

  • Look, We are mammals, in our nature our females have breasts, not as a sexual thing, but use them to feed the young

Public nursing is fine because we may be smart but we are animals (literally) and in human nature women breastfeed

  • Wow,smart as hell!!! Haha.

  • aw what a beautiful lil baby!

  • That's tight! Great for winter time and windy days, I dont know how it would feel in the summer but as how the hood has holes and open areas it probably would make the baby comfortable as well. Im totally for breast feeding in public if its needed, as long as you and baby are comfortable as he/she eats that's all that matters. Beautiful baby by the way!

  • That was so cute and the mother has class enough to be discreet. The others are uncouth.

  • HAHAH My gosh, well done! Wish more people where as positive as you. Bubba is like "Hey I was hiding and eating here you know, shut the door, there is a draft" Well done!

  • I love your videos :-). I am a breastfeeding mom of a 4 month old boy and I hope to continue at least till he is 1 year old. It's such a precious time together! And although I have never seen any woman breastfeeding in public in the UK (where I live now), I do it myself as I think there is nothing to be ashamed of (well, first time was a bit hard). Question-is the t-shirt you're wearing in one of your videos from Poland? I'm just curious as I'm Polish :-). Greetings

  • yaaay! Good for you, Mama. Yes, I got that shirt in Poland. I am 1/2 Polish, my father is from Lodz

  • another thing-

ur baby when you removed the hood looked at the camera like "WTF?" and went back to feeding lol

  • curious where did you get that carrier? is the shade an option you bought seperate? i have a bjorn and would like a shade and not have to buy a new carrier?!

  • I got the carrier at a parent-child expo but it's available online. The shade is not separate. I suppose you could always sew one on and put velcro on the straps to hold it up instead of snaps. This carrier is fantastic- you can even use it with a toddler.

  • Plus, to keep the sun out of your son eyes. I applaud you, Sonia.

  • What a great idea, for the baby. A hood for the baby, when it rain outside or snow. you don't to have weirdos looking @ you. Breasts are meant to feeding your baby. Not men's sexual pleasure. I'm not a mother. But, someday, i'll like to become a mother, in the future. I want to feed my baby in public, not be @ home all the time. My older sis, when she was nursery, my first or second niece. A elderly lady, told her, to breastfeed in the bathroom. She said no. We're @ a restaurant.

  • I have had to feed my son in a bathroom to and it sucks. It depends where I am, sometimes I am confortable nursing in public, sometimes not. Like at the Indian restaurant, I know they were all trying to stare at my boobs so I hid out in the bathroom.

  • thats coz indians think is very freakish to brest feed in public. (statement made assuming indian restaurant had mostly indians)

  • The customer's were not indian, but the waiters were and they are kind of overly familiar and I just know they want to check out my boobs and talk about it after.

  • lol the babies like "yo nigga close them shades!" ^_^

  • I thought babies would not eat with their heads covered someone once told me that

  • No, he won't eat under a blanket. It's not the same. The blanket is really on his face and he can't see. He can see out the sides of the carrier and it is a bit open on top.

  • Hi Sonia, Great video...thanks for sharing it. Would that carrier also work with a larger baby? my 9 month old is 22 lbs and he's almost 30". Thanks! ~ Laura :o)

  • Great idea! I want one of those carriers!

  • kudos to you mama for nursing your baby...

  • Also.. in mosr states and in all of Canada it is Illegal for resturants to tell a nursing mother not to nurse her child in thier resturant.. so if it's really something bad then why isn't it againt the law?

  • at least you have the sense to cover up.

  • How is this video inappropriate? Its an educational video showing you how to breastfeed your baby without people seeing.

Last time i checked, educational videos wernt inappropriate.

  • You are doing nothing wrong, your just giving your baby the best start in life, take no notice of these narrow minded people and may I say your baby is so lovely, such bright blue eyes

  • @spitzbully It is legal to breastfeed in public in all 50 states. So I can be walking in a park or mall and breastfeed and I don't even have to cover up, legally. :) So you should give thanks to this person for teaching others how to breastfeed discreetly.

  • WOO! Go Ergos!!

And to Spitzbully... if breastfeeding belongs in bathrooms and at home.. feel free to head off to the bathroom yourself.. i'm sure i wouldn't want to see you eatting either!

  • "Sexual private parts" see, that is the problem right there: you are sexualizing the breast, when its primary function is actually to feed the baby. When women wore floor-length skirts, the ankles were sexualized but no-one today would say that ankles are 'private sexual part

  • i'll help answer that question for thecandyshopgirl--babies are more important than grown adults!when they are hungry they should be fed and not starve for some grown adult that is uncomfortable with the most natural way of feeding a baby.and no, restaurants are for eating.why shouldn't a baby be allowed to eat?because a grown adult would rather a child scream from hunger than have to watch such an outrageous act as feeding a baby.btw--the breast was made for a baby's mouth not a GROWN MAN'S!

  • I think the problem is not so much babies going hungry, but moms opting for formula to avoid the problem of nursing in public. Formula companies will have you believe you it's an adequate, comparable alternative, but the SIDS risk for formula-fed babies under 1 year is 13 times HIGHER than for breastfed babies. The risk of many other diseases including cancer is also higher for non-breastfed kids under 3.

  • If you don't like seeing moms nursing their babies, why did you click on a video called 'breastfeeding in public'? P.S. the world doesn't revolve around you.

  • i like your homevids more, honey :D

but please go on with posting!

  • nice video sonia!.....you live in montreal but your accent is so canadian....thats cool!
