What is it with these trucks catching fire from time to time? Busted fuel lines? I've seen that happen in CORR races too.

Im no expert, but much of the time is starts at the transmission. Most of these trucks run automatics, and they are put under extreme abuse.

I just watched the video most of this is from. I would give anything to be back in those days when they raced all over the midwest every weekend. They still refer to that pond at crandon as Parsons pond lol.

Thanks for the comments guys. This was actually the first video I ever made. I was only a little kid when I was actually at these races, but I still remember seeing the stuff in the video.

Sometimes two used to be able to run a navigator. we still run some of those up in Ontario Canada. old class 3's and 4's even old AMSOIL Mccrossen trucks come out once in a while.
