I loved this film as a kid, was starting to think I was the only person who'd ever seen it, lost all hope of ever finding it again. But here it is! Thank you :D
@ISTANBULOS I glad you asked again the end of last year was very busy for me, I will look today and let you know. I just have so many spots it could be, I know I put it somewhere special so I could find it, but that was years ago.
@ISTANBULOS I found it today, Dvd is ok, but it has no menu, I will make a menu for it and clean up the video if I can. I can tell it came from a vhs, but it is the full movie.
That is RACHEL FURY PLAYING NANCY!! How freakin cool is that. Best singer Floyd ever put on stage. Loved the way she swayed and moved on stage. What a beautiful women and a great great voice.
Oh My God. I remember this film. I probably still have it on video somewhere. My Mum taped it of the tele for me years and years ago. I cant remember him being called Horatio. This really does bring back memories.
I got this film on DVD from an IMDb user, it's a VHS to DVD rip and I love it, I used to watch this film all the time when I was younger. MY tape always had the beginning missing, it would start playing where Mary's dad says "But a rabbit can't pick a bunch of flowers"...
Great film and good job on uploading it. Are you that use I got the DVD from? He was called Paul if I remember.....
Also, out of curosity, I wonder what happened to Lesley Roach who played Miss Mary Bunting? She was in quite of lot of stuff from about 1968 to 1975 (Year of the Sex Oympics, Z Cars etc) but disappeared since then. Did she give up acting and is now an estate agent or something, wanting to forget her claim to fame from 40 years ago? She must be in her late 40s now...
Mary Bunting reminded me of a young girl who lived across the road from me when I was a young boy. We were great friends...
This is British nostalgia at its very best. The travesty is that many CFF films have not been seen on terristrial television since the early 1990s - ITV had shown this at about 4.30 am on Christmas Day back in 1991, and it hasn't been seen since... Perhaps none of them own the rights to the CFF films and so have gone into the dark area of the film archive?
My GF used to play this constantly (when she was little) and drive her family mad running around shouting "Mummy,Mummy Mummy!" until they (probably) destroyed the tape.
Ohmigosh! I'd been wondering what movie had a man-sized gentleman rabbit hanging out in a clearing. I can't believe I finally found out what the movie's title is! I'm ecstatic! :D Thank you very much for putting this up and ending my search! ^_^
Bless your heart for putting this up. This still cracks me up to this day - some of Knibbles dialogue is so well written and the silly policeman is classic. I loved this as a child.
If anybody wants A DVD copy of this just let me know.
