Size of perch is relative to where you are. I have caught crappie here in Oregon that would make the average fisherman drop a load in their pants! Honestly though, I would have been fishing with my 4lb rod and smokin these guys!

where are you guys fishing, since all of you get surprised by the size. I fish for freswather perch her in norway. And if you find the right spot, you can catch 3 lbs perch wery easy. So 1 lbs perch is nothing here

. And a small lake called Lyseren. You can wery easy catch 4 lbs perch.

I'm sure they have all kinds of fish in Siberia rivers and lakes. Just to be clear it's not me who is fishing in this video. I've never been to Siberia. I've ripped it from russian instructional video about perch fishing.

Personally i prefer aglia or black fury number 2. I know a lot of people who are very successful catching perch with small soft plastic baits.
