Most Windows errors are caused by the user or third party programs. Macs are PCs with some kind of downsyndrome. It's a bit of a harsh analogy, but i like it. Lol. I have an old G4 Mac sat behind me, and even after reinstalling the OS it still screws up one hell of alot more than any of my Windows PCs. Besides which, thanks to the MacOSx86 project, if you really want a limited *nix OS you can install OSX to almost any PC (so long as the CPU has at least SSE2 instructions) and laugh at it. :D
