  • What is the name of song?

  • the charger is junk! its waaayy to heavy! and they are going through motors like crazy....the charger is a money pit ....officers like to drive the to boost there ego!....and georgia is crazy enough to buy some SRT8 chargers! thats the biggest waste of money I have ever seen! they can not justify cops riding around in a car that cost 62,000 dollars before all the police goodies are added.....they need to cut back on spending and buy some cheaper cars and stop buying hot rods!

  • well all i can say is this would be a much better investment than that turd charger that the cops are driving!

  • if they give these to cops i will give up my dream of becoming a cop when im older :(

  • Question?

Why the claim they will only sell the car to law enforcement?

    Why?

There is nothing so super special about the car for that restriction?

Heck due to the crash frame to claimed stand up to a 70mph crash? Think of the lives that would be saved?? I have a BC4 Camaro that Chevy only sells to Law Enforcement whoo Hoo NOT...

The only difference between it and a Z-28 is heavy duty electrics, suspension and about an additional 50-60 HP. Gee that is really gonna give the crumbs an advantage..

  • You guys fuck it up show the Mustang, instead of the Trans Am.

I Like the original KITT! I miss the T Tops...

  • also, it has 360 degree lights to prevent t-bone accidents, back seats are plastic and has drain at bottom, back seatbelts buckle from inside out to prevent headbutting to officers, touch screen internet system, suicide doors to put arrestees in back of car easier and its american and will create jobs. as a future police officer, i would feel much safer in this car than anything else. the other cars you mentioned are made for the public, this car is made for police officers.

  • before you "dis" this car, read more about it and possibly go on the website for more information but it is the best and safest police car to date. this car will run on clean diesel, have bullet-proof dash panels and doors, a detector to detect if there is any biological weapons on a person, it will have internal and external cameras, automatic license plate recognition system...

  • sry but for me this ''new'' car is shitty...

charger, fcv, impala, and caprice are the best police cars in us i guess ;)

  • Looks very awesome, I hope to be patrolling in one sometime in the near future.

  • LOL this car is ugly and from the side it looks like a gay looking box

  • Good thing its customers don't have any value in styling then!

  • its meant to be functional, and to provide safety for the officer. I would rather have those than style. I like the way it looks personally.

  • that's what I mean. I don't care what police cars look like as long as they're as functional, versatile, and capable possible and cost as little as possible. likewise, the prospective customers of the E7 (the police/government) has the same sensibilities and likely values styling least relative to other qualities.

  • @Barrowood0002 yeah it does look mean wish i could get a civi model :D

  • @shadowhunter388 good thing you aren't going to be a police officer and drive one.. maybe an officer will pull you over in one someday.

  • @09pierce09 Actually yeah I am, I go on ride a longs all the time. The crown vics or chargers are cool

  • @shadowhunter388 well its good to hear that you are going to be a police officer.. but if you do research the e7, its got everything a police officer needs to keep safe and to fulfill all his duties, i do love the chargers though.. these two are my top favs

  • Connersville Indiana... New Home of Carbon Motors!!! Congratulations Connersville! :)

  • Heck yeah, Great music, It made me want to bounce a perps head off the hood!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I know that carbon won't sell this car to anybody but police forces, but there's always the chance that Bruce Wayne can buy one in secret, customize it, and then drive it around as the Batmobile.....;)

  • What name this song?

  • Someone a few posts back said the name of the song was 'Denial' Does anyone know who the artist is?

  • Would it be okay for the BIG 3 to build a car based on the E7 itself I mean not the look of the car but the shape & widenth of it?

  • I just don't like the auto plate reader ... sometime I just don't wanna know lol

  • built by cops 4 cops!

not a taxi or a charger,

    2012 here it comes!

  • "by cops for cops" eh? Well, heres one cop who will be sticking with his Police Interceptor. It does it's job and does it well.

  • I'm not a cop but I LOVE my Interceptor! But mines one of the "slow" ones its a 99, it lacks power *for now* but the 3.55 gears really make up for it. Only problem is it still looks like a cop car.....for now. lol

  • hey am not saying everyone is going to love them, but they are a great piece of machine!!!

  • making it harder to out run that speeding ticket

  • If carbon motors can produce better vehicles at a more competative price, then I say screw the BIG 3! Time for a new player on the block!

  • Anyone know the song? Its pretty badass!

  • It's called "Denial."

  • Well I know the reason why the Philadelphia Police use Impalas and I think this car would be a good vehicle for them to use as a alternative to the Crown Victoria, Impala and Charger. This car also almost reminds me of the civic class cruisers in Need for Speed Most Wanted, Carbon and Undercover and I personally think EA should put this car in the next NFS game as the civic class cruisers.

  • That thing will never sell. What department would be dumb enough to spend money on one of these when they can pick up 3 Crown Vics for the same price? Maintenance on those will be a killer too. I can just imagine the price of those 18" tires.

  • It's not $100,000 its price when it comes out in 2012, will be competitive with the Crown Vic & Charger

  • dew is right. Pricing is going to be along the lines of what it costs a normal cruiser today. Consider you are not purchasing just a Crown Vic, but also all the necessary equipment to make it a police cruiser and the price goes substantially upwards. Maintanence could be an issue but im sure there will be something worked out along those lines. And with the estimated 30mpg compared to a 10 maybe 15 mpg rating of cruisers today, you will save more in the long run.

  • It's about time that Police get a purpose built car. I mean sure the new Chargers are a nice upgrade from the Caprice and Crown Vics, but even those are not built specifically for Police. This has been a long time coming and finally here, I can not wait to see these hit the streets.

  • Saw it in person today in San Jose CA. The features are amazing. It won't be on the street til late 2012 at the earliest. Whether Carbon Motors can truly keep their promise and make this car cost competitive so that they will truly become prolific remains to be seen. I hope they are successful. They have absolutely thought of everything a cop ever dreamed of in a car, but it's still not a motorcycle :)

  • oh hell yeah! this makes me soo glad im spending 4 years getting a criminal justice degree!

  • Same here. 21st century law enforcement is going to be fun :)

  • No, Ometopada, they'll only be looking for you.

  • What is the name of this song??

  • awesome!

  • Oh yeah! look out dirtbags....

  • lol!
