  • How long does it last?

  • would it be possibel to put artefil into the chin?

and also would it be possible to fix a diagonal chin line?

(i'm female and when i smile from front view my chin does not lie in a straight line, it is diagonal, and it really bothers me).

  • Doc, how much product is used in this example? If it's one cc at about $700 or so for Radiesse, and it lasts about 6-9 months, is it safe to say it costs about $100 a month to maintain this patients chin? Your opinion on Artefill?

  • You know what makes me sick? Look at that dude at 2:07. His profile and chin are beautiful. WHY does he think he NEEDS THIS???? Id be happy just to look like he does BEFORE the injection!

  • i was likin this till you said its not permenant

  • can we see the before and after for the guy in the video?

  • can this be used in Jaws on the side of the face as well as the chin? does it cause cancer? or peices break loose and pass in to the blood stream and turn in to blood clots? or does it pass in to any body fluids like the spine and get in to the brain and cause brain damage or sleep disturbance? how long has this been used in humans what is the % of people that bodys reject the injected chemical?

  • I was wondering, how does the filler feel when it's injected into the chin? Does it sort of harden and mimic bone or is it a purely aesthetic result.

  • the filler really doesn't feel like anything once the initial swelling goes down after 2 days or so. it is a soft filler, so it incorporates into the skin and you can't feel it at all.

  • Thanks for the response, for some reason (as someone who's considered the surgery) it feeling somehow unnatural is a concern.

Generally speaking, how many mm of advancement can this procedure achieve?

  • i can usually get a centimeter or more of advancement with radiesse. if i can do the injections over a couple of sessions, i can get more advancement.

  • Wow! That's a lot better than I expected. Thanks for the response.

  • wish i lived in LA the surgeons ive been to wont lengthen my chin and im just wasting my money on consultations that wont get me anywhere wish i lived in america where people have the freaking balls to do this

  • hey friedchickennigga, the results are excellent, dun worry abt it.I had personally done many nose, chin, cheeks augmentation or correction..& all of them have fanstatic results.Well u can check the internet for b4 & after results on each products(fillers) they used. The only thing is the duration tat it lasts in the area.2k is worth every penny!

  • I consulted Dr. Rivkin and it depends on how much radiesse you want/need. He told me I should use about 2 cc's of it for my chin and cheeks, so around 2k total. I'm a bit worried about the effectiveness as well. Not a lot of before/after pics circulating about. =[

  • Why not use Aquamid instead?

  • why don't they show before and after photos that would have been a lot more helpful in terms of understanding how much progress it does

  • No kidding, this treatment sounds great...yet like you said, there's no before and after photos, and the fact that it only last 2 years is its downfall, also just curiouse on how much this exactly would cost...

  • $2,800

  • I'm sure you could get a permanent chin implant for the same amount

  • no

    see above

  • $2,800 in my country

  • the radiesse actually lasts about a year.

we were thinking 2 years early on, but i've seen that it really lasts a year.

it is more subtle than surgery - i refer people who need major enhancement to a facial plastic surgeon.

cost is $800 to $1200, depending on how much Radiesse the person needs

  • hello, can i ask a question, do you know what will work to inhance my chin besides radiesse, unfortunetely in my country we dont have radiesse but we have everything else, do you know what i can use fr non surgical?

  • you can use hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm. they are not as thick as Radiesse, but they should give you some good enhancement. they will last 6 to 12 months.
