My first character in Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines was Toreador because I like the concept of a vampire caring for and about human beings. After completing the game with a Malk and halfway through with a Nos Torries are still my favourite clan.
Here is my list: 13.) Assamite 12.) Gangrel 11.) Malkavian 10.) Settite 9.) Toreador 8.)Ravnos 7.) Giovanni 6.) Lasombra 5.) Brujah 4.) Tremere 3.) Ventrue 2.) Tzimisce 1.) Nosferatu this is of course as ones i would actually play, i used to hate the Ventrue until i was challenged to play one and he was possibly my favorite character ever. Surpirised to see the brujah so far up, as i am really ambivelent about them, but i guess hating them pushes them up over stuff i just don't care about.
@LordSathar The Nos Are a really underrated clan. I love how everyone forgets they have potence, like they are frail little bitches. Until it is too late.
@irbb07 yes, they are really bland. I don't think I'd ever be interested in playing one, other than as an NPC & I'm not big on them in that role, for the most part. I did have one V NPC that was an interesting character. One of the big problems concept wise with them is any concept you could have for that clan could easily be put into many others & the other clans are all more interesting. Still the combo of dom & pres is broken so some power gamers do like them.
@irbb07 No, I've seen them power gamed a lot, maybe every time I've seen them. They were one of the bastions of bootiness, for bad players looking to do something twinky. Besides that I'm not a fan of their flaw.
Sadly, they became a big part of bad games. I don't think anyone every played one in a game I was in but I saw plenty.
As a storyteller you get to learn and understand all the clans, is hard to pick one or make a list of favorites. I can answer this tough, If I were going to be embraced not as a character but as myself, I'm 100% sure that I would be a gangrel. Wandering through the night, visiting new places, having the whole eternity to walk around the world, that is what would make me wake up every night to go hunting. That's a good question for you I think. Who do you think would embrace you?
@insau Interesting description, thanks for that. For me, it would all depend on what the exposure to a sire was. Tzimisce for my nature, Toreador for my artistic soul, Brujah for my passion, or Tremere for my intellectual approach to the world. I would even say Follower of Set or Lasombra would be possible. But for all of eternity, I think I'd do best as a Tzimisce, hope that answers the question.
Another great video. I'm a huge fan of Werewolf and Mage, but I've never played VTM. I've finally found someone to run a game. I'm planning on playing a Gangrel (Big surprise eh?) and would love to hear what you think, or more so why. Why do you think they are limited? How would you play one? Would you recommend them for a new player? and what would you be sure not to do/to do. Basically,.. What would Ander do? No rush, I just look forward to hearing your opinions and advice. Thanks Brother.
@HeathbrookBadhwar ah thank you. Hmm, that's odd, VTM is the gate way game for most into the WOD. Yes gangrel make good vamps for new players. I'll certainly be getting a video on the Gangrel out. I'm slowly getting through all the clans. If you want to really stand out, don't take any ranks of protean and make his animalism really high. For an easy hint.
@woodwwad Yes, I started with Werewolf, then went to Mage. I owned VTM all the way through, I just never found a group until now. I am really interested in the Tzimisce, (I came across the tribe book in an old stack, in my basement.) though I think I shall wait till my next character to try a Tzimisce. Thanks again for your info and advice. I'm really looking forward to this game.
@woodwwad Been watching these videos all night, trying to decide. Right now I'm caught between Gangrel and Toreador. I'm going to do some reading, then sleep on it.
@woodwwad Well, I've finally finished my first character. He is neither Gangrel nor Toreador, I talked a while with my storyteller, and decided to settle on Lasombra Antitribue. Sired an Antitribute, a dangerous path to walk, but I look forward to it. My first session is tonight, it is a solo session, we're supposed to be going for 6 hours at least, so It should be a good introduction.
@HeathbrookBadhwar My characters name is Mathew Thomas Olsen, In life he was a young aspiring political science graduate, of Providence College, Rhode Island. (Social, Mental, Physical) Moved to DC to try and become a Campaign Manager, when his sire noticed him, Isolated him and destroyed his life, before proposing more power than he ever sought for. (3 years before the Sabbat took over DC). My background is much more fleshed out than that summary, I'm looking forward to this.
@HeathbrookBadhwar Why did you choose such a complicated character for your first? You better come up with some good reasons he has cover. Not only will the sabbat come for you the second they find out what you are but many in the Cam will sort you out too. Ah 6 hour intro, nice. I enjoy doing that myself. Are you playing DC? Having lived 15 minutes from DC for 6 1/2 years, knowing the real life DC & the WOD metaplot, I really dislike it for a Vampire game for a lot of reasons.
@woodwwad Chose Lasombra Antitribute, simply because I wanted to play a Lasombra, but didn't want to be in the Sabbat. Reflecting now, it was a complicated choice, and I have to agree, when you say that the Lasombra, should have been in the Cam, and the Gangrel or Brujah in the Sabbat. I fled DC when the Sabbat took over, and had to live on the .Story started when I arrived in NYC, looks like this part is going to take place here and in Jersey. Loving the game so far. Much different then WtA.
@HeathbrookBadhwar Live on the run*** What do you dislike about the DC WOD metaplot? out of curiosity. I never had these city books by night, in Werewolf, though I purchased the Vancouver one and It's well written.
@HeathbrookBadhwar Yes, VAmpire is a lot different for sure. Ah, NY is a lot better for Vamp than DC. DC has cops & cameras everywhere, also it is a seat of the technocracy. They wouldn't look too kindly on the vamps doing too much there. It creates a lot of problems.
@YaoiHuntressEarth Sure, I try to get all requests taken care of. If I don't get to them, always feel free to request again, I tend to get a lot of them, so I do miss a few.
@YaoiHuntressEarth sure did, haven't checked it yet. I try to answer post comments before PMs, have about 35 unopened in my box (I tend to get a lot). I'll check it now though.
@woodwwad i like how they are kinda beasts, the raw power of a vampire (and protean is such an awesome power to have it gives u weapon, a portable heaven and a way to be stealthy)
@woodwwad Yeah, Sluagh are studious, solitary and always chasing for information to use. They also tend to stockpile the information, and most sluagh are pale skinned with dark hair. Most are also victorian in their stuffyness.
Kiasyd are as studious, are as if not more solitary, and have the same drive for information, gathering it and stockpiling it as the sluagh. They also share the common looks and victorian stuffyness.
@Anamizuki Sluagh have the worst flaw of anything I've ever seen. I don't know why they decided to make them that way. Poor game design choice. I think it is a bit odd that they choose the Lasombra as the parent clan for the Kiasyd instead of maybe the Malkvavians.
@woodwwad The whisper thing I guess is because they wanted to enfirce the 'loner goth' stereotype side of the kith. Doesn't take away from the benefits they have, however.
@woodwwad The Kiasyd (as much as I love the idea of fae-touched vampires who enjoy skinning children to make book covers, drinking only from virgin blood poured into silver chalices and having to be having rough sex with the victim while feeding) are conceptually bollocks. They were written by the same lunatic who came up with the Ahrimanes I believe, who likewise have non-sensical origins and name. Ah well.
@clackclickbang Yes, there certainly are problems there. The ideas you listed there would be much better for them than what they give in the books for sure.
@herkles1 I really dislike both the sabbat & the anarchs so I think it would be okay. I really enjoyed the fact that there weren't sects in VDA the first time I played it. Being able to have a Lasombra & a Ventrue in the same room leads to more rp, not less. I found it really refreshing.
My nosferatu in our dark ages game doesen't have obfiuscate eather.
I listed my favorites alredy in your assamite video so... Tough from the bloodlines the ones I like are the baali, gargoyles and samedi. The baali tough are a clan I think is cool and interesting (own the clanbook(it's a fucking horrorshow)) but I'm not interested in playing them. As NPC's I'd totally use them tough. Samedi are a clan I would want to trye some day and I would like to play a tremere players gargoyle :)
Oh and glad to see you're gonna get to play VTM again soon. Just want to make sure you remember I'm still planning on VTR even though I said VTM was better.
Oh yeah as for Brujah in Sabbat, I think the only reason they go either Camarilla or Anarch is the reason they are philosophers at the core and they try to uphold those traditions of fighting for sake of utopian Carthage - after all they used to live in harmony with mortals and they still want those ideals to come back - I don't think they'll go for carnage and bloodbaths Sabbath style. Besides their elders from Dark Ages are still really respected and stick to their ancient morals
Camarilla should have been: Lasombra, Tcimisce, Ventrue, Tremere, Toreador, giovanni.
Sabbath would better consist of: Brujah, Gangrel, Malkavian, Ravnos, Caitiff.
Independent (fucking everyone else): Baali, Setites, Nosferatu (Selling out), Assamites. Would havve been better in my oppinion but politics are difficult and there is no way the Tcimisce would work together with the Tremere. After all that happened i do wonder why the Nosferatu arent independent in the game
Last and least - Assamites. They are just not meant to be PCs. Nice Antagonists but no PCs. I would say before them are the Ravnos for a similiar reason. Brujah, Gangel, Ventrue, Lasombra etc...all have their strengths and weaknesses but i cant put them in order. Bloodlines...well i dont think about them much. Samedhi...well hard to stay with them and playing one is hard enough. I also prefer cappadocians to giovanni.
Also am a bit bored with what you exactly mentioned :P everyone takes either Gangrel or Brujah... OR Malkavian and those are worst honestly (I mean playerwise) they are overused by people who don't understand being mad does not mean being stupid... and they all go "Oh lol! I'm joker from batman now! Why so serious?! LOL" and they treat this clan as an excuse not to think or contribute to team effort or get away with ruining something you guys were building up long.
@YuriPRIME True - actually they are KILLERS and mad killers arent stupid. Indeed they are extremely intelligent. just look at all those mad serial killers. They are very efficient, very intelligent, highly functional. just their reasons for killing are "stupid" or lets say cant really be understood by someone with a sane worldview
@ArphenMaethor Oh I understand abstract reasoning, though I wish there were more players that would understand the term too. I played with two such people who were marvelous at Role Playing Malkavians and were geniuses about it. But unfortunately most peeps I've seen taking them act not abstract-"stupid"... but just plain stupid. Like setting our own car on fire... for no reason, because he's Malkavian and he does silly things. (We were escaping the werewolf chace... team wipe)
@YuriPRIME ouch...*goes outside to set the players car on fire* "Why?" "Because i am the GM and no amount of in character punishment would be enough" ^^ You could have tried to save the situation by letting the players leaving their clothes in the car -> werewolfs MAY get the smell of their prey from inside the car and leave them - or the car explodes (unlikely but...) but that would have made a bad picture of the werewolfs ^^
@YuriPRIME Yeah, I ranted a bit in my resent clan malkavian video about people who try to play them as the joker & go into a rather detailed approach to playing them. They are a great clan if done well they add a lot to a game. Crazy isn't zany, it's sad and terrifying.
2. Baali - for me they are a Clan they deserve it and who knows, the Salubri, Tremere and them may share the same antedeluvian...You already gave a lot of reasons why they are great.
3. Malkavians - let players feel uneasy...
4. Setites - for me Sort of "half assed" Baali but still...
5. Tcimisce - MUCH possibilites for roleplaying
6. Toreador - same as above
7. Nosferatu - Tragic but powerfull
8 and less - well cant really decide as i pretty much like /dislike the others the same
@ArphenMaethor Baali, Salubri and Tremere all share the same antediluvian. It is interesting to compare and contrast the followers of Set and the Baali.
I stick with Ventrue all the way - although my fav adventures were all about something like a mix of Citizen Kane and Godfather, fighting for power in vampire politics. Also If you ever watched Blade, I'm sure you remember the guy named Deacon Frost - exactly an upstart Ventruish character climbing up the ladder of power. I think people too often mistake Ventrues for bank accountants :P
1. Tremere (Power, allows for great atmosphere and background - saulot, vienna etc) the drawback of not being trusted isnt really one - gives you the fear factor and you benefit from it. As Tremere you are feared, distrusted...and can use that perfectly. You are on the leash but if you get into the character well you dont feel it that way its more a pool of chances to prove yourself. If you are a Tremere in mind and heart there are no drawbacks kust power and benefits
Regarding the Lasombra being in the Camarilla.. I feel that they're not because they're far too up themselves to hide from humanity like the Ventrue, Toreador etc. Additionally, if you had a Lasombra / Ventrue political divide it'd be a bit too similar to the Shadow Lord / Silver Fang power struggle.
@clackclickbang It might be similar to that, but I think it would work well that way & the Lasombra just don't seem like they'd put up with the level of degeneration that is the sabbat but the brujah & gangrel certainly would.
It's interesting that you say the Lasombra should be in the Camarilla, 'cause one of my characters, a Lasombra, is a Cammy. I had a similar thought as you on that one 8)
@Burori1 In cannon there are, I think 7 anti-tribue Lasombra. So it is possible but wow, do you have a target on you. In the dark ages, when you can really have open ventrue on lasombra problems, it really feels like you get a lot more out of both clans.
Hey man you may have said this before but kinda sounds like you dont like most the clans in WOD original so do you like what they did for the new WOD line with the vamps and wolves? 1 Tremere 2 Nosferatu 3 Gangrel
@1974Glock No, I don't care for the NWOD too much. I think it is okay, I would play in a game of it but to me, they cut the soul out of the game. Didn't mean to come off as not liking the clans in owod, I enjoy most of them greatly, especially the top half of my list. I think there is a great deal of rp potential for most of them.
This is a tough question, and I may well want to revise this list on further contemplation on the Tree of Woe, but here it goes: 13- Ass 12- Ravnos 11-Tremere (but #2 for NPCs) 10-Gangrel 9-Giovanni (#3 for NPCs) 8-Brujah 7-Tzimisce (#1 for NPC) 6-Toreador 5-Ventrue 4-Lasombra 3- Setite 2-Nosferatu 1-Malkavian
Only played in Camarilla games, which colors this a bit. Also, I loves me some Obfuscate.
As far as moving clans and organiztions put the ravnos int he sabbat, put the lasombra in the camarilla, that I believe would have been a better choice.
@woodwwad I think that if they had become an independent clan they would have fared a bit better. Don't get me wrong I believe that they could be sabbat esque, but the bloodline version of them from requiem fits the idea better. Actually are you referring to the regular old sabbat, the false hand or the True Hand?
My personal favorites are considered pariahs, first up would be the Salubri specifically due to the story tied to the progenitor. Next would likely be the Catiff Sabbat members, the Panders I believe. Finally the True Brujah, not because of temporis but because of their story the idea of the hidden wiseman watching the days/years/ages go by.
Now what I would personally love to hear from you woodwad is your favorite Werewolf Tribes :).
hmm, for me it is the following. 13.assamites 12.gangrel 11. ravnos 10. venture 9. followers of set 8. brujah 7. Malkavian 6. Tremere 5. lasombra 4. giovanni((though cappadocians are better)) 3. Nosferatu 2. toreador 1. tzimisce
@woodwwad I love their corruption angle, that is what I like about them. still the worship of evil snakes can be a bit silly, but I can see why you like them. Perhaps I have not delved deep enough into the setites. but that is my reason.
I feel like those that are drawn to toreadore (my favorite clan, well between them the Tzimice and the Malkavians) tend to be art minded so they tend to get more "into the rpg" if that makes sense?
@falloutmnky I totally feel you on that. I think the Toreador are a great clan. I've played them & enjoy them. Art, music, beauty, so much you can do with that clan. The clever player can really get a lot out of auspex & prescence too
Yes you do love your crazy-crazed PCs. I say that as a very good thing :) Maybe the Golden Dreamthorn has a bit of the Followers of the Midgard Serpent in him ? Maybe ?
As I seem to remember you have me personally down as Ravnos...that might well be my favourite Clan. Though others I think had me as a Tremere. Time will tell...
my toons always carry salt shakers with them hehehehe dont you hat that girls always play tor a dor Wood check out kindred the embraced it was made for wod oringel it was show
@gwenaverr Lol, I think you are the 4th person that actually recommended that show to me. I watched the eps when they were on TV. Then picked it up on VHS & the DVD. I've seen them all, lots of times.
I have not seen one bad assamite, I've seen at least 50 bad ones, & not bad, but just terrible. I like class in my Tzimisce, so a bit Dracula but very different too. I enjoy the eldrich occult aspect of them & the evil gentlemen. They work on a lot of levels.
My first character in Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines was Toreador because I like the concept of a vampire caring for and about human beings. After completing the game with a Malk and halfway through with a Nos Torries are still my favourite clan.

@sonoflillith1 I've found female players seem to like Toreador best and Malkavian next.
I've noticed most beginning male characters are either brujah or gangrel.

Samedi are a clan I would want to trye some day and I would like to play a tremere players gargoyle :)
hammeredshitsteak 1 month ago
@hammeredshitsteak No, Baali are a bloodline, not a clan. They do not have a 3rd gen which is what determines if you are a clan or not.
woodwwad 1 month ago in playlist Uploaded videos
@woodwwad Oh that just slipped because they do have a "clan"book, you know.

@hammeredshitsteak ah right, wasn't sure if you might not have understood how it worked.

Oh and glad to see you're gonna get to play VTM again soon. Just want to make sure you remember I'm still planning on VTR even though I said VTM was better.
alokov 1 month ago
@alokov Did I say I was going to play VTM again? I didn't mean to. I thought I said I'd like to play it again.

@woodwwad I think you said something like "it looks like I might get to play it soon" or something.

@alokov hmm, I don't know.

YuriPRIME 1 month ago
@YuriPRIME I'd always thought from reading between the lines that Carthage was far from the utopia they described it to be.

Setite, Lasombra (though I agree with you on the Sabbat thing I just think they're cool), Tzimisce Cappadocian (well of course) Malkavian.
alokov 1 month ago
Camarilla should have been: Lasombra, Tcimisce, Ventrue, Tremere, Toreador, giovanni.
Sabbath would better consist of: Brujah, Gangrel, Malkavian, Ravnos, Caitiff.
Independent (fucking everyone else): Baali, Setites, Nosferatu (Selling out), Assamites. Would havve been better in my oppinion but politics are difficult and there is no way the Tcimisce would work together with the Tremere. After all that happened i do wonder why the Nosferatu arent independent in the game
ArphenMaethor 1 month ago
Last and least - Assamites. They are just not meant to be PCs. Nice Antagonists but no PCs. I would say before them are the Ravnos for a similiar reason. Brujah, Gangel, Ventrue, Lasombra etc...all have their strengths and weaknesses but i cant put them in order. Bloodlines...well i dont think about them much. Samedhi...well hard to stay with them and playing one is hard enough. I also prefer cappadocians to giovanni.
ArphenMaethor 1 month ago
@ArphenMaethor I have no problem with Assamites as npcs, just as pcs they are the ballz. Yes, giovanni are such pale shadows.
woodwwad 1 month ago in playlist Uploaded videos
Also am a bit bored with what you exactly mentioned :P everyone takes either Gangrel or Brujah... OR Malkavian and those are worst honestly (I mean playerwise) they are overused by people who don't understand being mad does not mean being stupid... and they all go "Oh lol! I'm joker from batman now! Why so serious?! LOL" and they treat this clan as an excuse not to think or contribute to team effort or get away with ruining something you guys were building up long.
YuriPRIME 1 month ago
@YuriPRIME True - actually they are KILLERS and mad killers arent stupid. Indeed they are extremely intelligent. just look at all those mad serial killers. They are very efficient, very intelligent, highly functional. just their reasons for killing are "stupid" or lets say cant really be understood by someone with a sane worldview
ArphenMaethor 1 month ago
@ArphenMaethor Oh I understand abstract reasoning, though I wish there were more players that would understand the term too. I played with two such people who were marvelous at Role Playing Malkavians and were geniuses about it. But unfortunately most peeps I've seen taking them act not abstract-"stupid"... but just plain stupid. Like setting our own car on fire... for no reason, because he's Malkavian and he does silly things. (We were escaping the werewolf chace... team wipe)
YuriPRIME 1 month ago
@YuriPRIME ouch...*goes outside to set the players car on fire* "Why?" "Because i am the GM and no amount of in character punishment would be enough" ^^ You could have tried to save the situation by letting the players leaving their clothes in the car -> werewolfs MAY get the smell of their prey from inside the car and leave them - or the car explodes (unlikely but...) but that would have made a bad picture of the werewolfs ^^
ArphenMaethor 1 month ago
@YuriPRIME Yeah, I ranted a bit in my resent clan malkavian video about people who try to play them as the joker & go into a rather detailed approach to playing them. They are a great clan if done well they add a lot to a game. Crazy isn't zany, it's sad and terrifying.
woodwwad 1 month ago in playlist Uploaded videos
2. Baali - for me they are a Clan they deserve it and who knows, the Salubri, Tremere and them may share the same antedeluvian...You already gave a lot of reasons why they are great.
3. Malkavians - let players feel uneasy...
4. Setites - for me Sort of "half assed" Baali but still...
5. Tcimisce - MUCH possibilites for roleplaying
6. Toreador - same as above
7. Nosferatu - Tragic but powerfull
8 and less - well cant really decide as i pretty much like /dislike the others the same
ArphenMaethor 1 month ago
@ArphenMaethor Baali, Salubri and Tremere all share the same antediluvian. It is interesting to compare and contrast the followers of Set and the Baali.
woodwwad 1 month ago
I stick with Ventrue all the way - although my fav adventures were all about something like a mix of Citizen Kane and Godfather, fighting for power in vampire politics. Also If you ever watched Blade, I'm sure you remember the guy named Deacon Frost - exactly an upstart Ventruish character climbing up the ladder of power. I think people too often mistake Ventrues for bank accountants :P
YuriPRIME 1 month ago
Well my List of Clans:
ArphenMaethor 1 month ago
Glad to see the Caps and Setites getting their well-deserved props.
alokov 1 month ago
@alokov I'm a big fan of both.
woodwwad 1 month ago
Regarding the Lasombra being in the Camarilla.. I feel that they're not because they're far too up themselves to hide from humanity like the Ventrue, Toreador etc. Additionally, if you had a Lasombra / Ventrue political divide it'd be a bit too similar to the Shadow Lord / Silver Fang power struggle.
clackclickbang 1 month ago
@clackclickbang It might be similar to that, but I think it would work well that way & the Lasombra just don't seem like they'd put up with the level of degeneration that is the sabbat but the brujah & gangrel certainly would.

It's interesting that you say the Lasombra should be in the Camarilla, 'cause one of my characters, a Lasombra, is a Cammy. I had a similar thought as you on that one 8)
Burori1 1 month ago
@Burori1 In cannon there are, I think 7 anti-tribue Lasombra. So it is possible but wow, do you have a target on you. In the dark ages, when you can really have open ventrue on lasombra problems, it really feels like you get a lot more out of both clans.
woodwwad 1 month ago
*10. Tzimisce, I meant, Tzimisce. Weird mistake on my part.
Burori1 1 month ago
For me it's 13: Assamites. 12: Followers of Set. 11: Giovanni. 10. Salubri. 9. Nosferatu. 8. Ravnos. 7. Tremere. 6. Toreador. 5. Ventrue. 4. Brujah. 3. Gangrel. 2. Lasombra. 1. Malkavian. Definitelly Malkavian~

Only got to for Clan, both Old and New World. Nosferatu and Gangrel. Bloodlines (per NWoD) Nahualli, The Carnival, and Architects of the Monolith.

Hey man you may have said this before but kinda sounds like you dont like most the clans in WOD original so do you like what they did for the new WOD line with the vamps and wolves? 1 Tremere 2 Nosferatu 3 Gangrel
1974Glock 1 month ago
@1974Glock No, I don't care for the NWOD too much. I think it is okay, I would play in a game of it but to me, they cut the soul out of the game. Didn't mean to come off as not liking the clans in owod, I enjoy most of them greatly, especially the top half of my list. I think there is a great deal of rp potential for most of them.
woodwwad 1 month ago
Onionkid99 1 month ago
@Onionkid99 Obfuscate is a fun power. I could see you doing well with a malk.
woodwwad 1 month ago
As far as moving clans and organiztions put the ravnos int he sabbat, put the lasombra in the camarilla, that I believe would have been a better choice.
ClockworkSorceror 1 month ago in playlist World of Darkness Videos
@ClockworkSorceror You don't like the brujah in the sabbat?
woodwwad 1 month ago
@woodwwad I think that if they had become an independent clan they would have fared a bit better. Don't get me wrong I believe that they could be sabbat esque, but the bloodline version of them from requiem fits the idea better. Actually are you referring to the regular old sabbat, the false hand or the True Hand?
ClockworkSorceror 1 month ago
My personal favorites are considered pariahs, first up would be the Salubri specifically due to the story tied to the progenitor. Next would likely be the Catiff Sabbat members, the Panders I believe. Finally the True Brujah, not because of temporis but because of their story the idea of the hidden wiseman watching the days/years/ages go by.
Now what I would personally love to hear from you woodwad is your favorite Werewolf Tribes :).
ClockworkSorceror 1 month ago in playlist World of Darkness Videos
@ClockworkSorceror I could put that video together at some point. There is one tribe that is far my favorite.

@herkles1 I'm surprised the followers of set ranked so low for you.
woodwwad 1 month ago
@woodwwad I love their corruption angle, that is what I like about them. still the worship of evil snakes can be a bit silly, but I can see why you like them. Perhaps I have not delved deep enough into the setites. but that is my reason.
btw you were expecting I would place them high?
herkles1 1 month ago
Tzimisce are about old aristocratic castles? Nah dude, for me Tzimisce is about vicissitude and body horror.
cockroach2 1 month ago
@cockroach2 Well that is what the clan degenerated into, in the sabbat.
woodwwad 1 month ago
I feel like those that are drawn to toreadore (my favorite clan, well between them the Tzimice and the Malkavians) tend to be art minded so they tend to get more "into the rpg" if that makes sense?
falloutmnky 1 month ago
@falloutmnky I totally feel you on that. I think the Toreador are a great clan. I've played them & enjoy them. Art, music, beauty, so much you can do with that clan. The clever player can really get a lot out of auspex & prescence too
woodwwad 1 month ago
ok i get it you dont like assimites but that is only cluase you had a bad role player playing them
do you like old school tzimisce like dracula or the new age flesh shapers?
gwenaverr 1 month ago
Yes you do love your crazy-crazed PCs. I say that as a very good thing :) Maybe the Golden Dreamthorn has a bit of the Followers of the Midgard Serpent in him ? Maybe ?
As I seem to remember you have me personally down as Ravnos...that might well be my favourite Clan. Though others I think had me as a Tremere. Time will tell...
Excellent post. Happy New Year !
