The last scene sums up the difference between televsion back then and now. Never "preachy" but in that one scene, there was a lesson on humility and letting others have a chance that doesn't appear to exist anymore.

wow only on youtube this is awful,what was buddy thinking oh well he was in my mind one of the best drummers ever.still miss him and his big band when I was a kid waiting for him to just walk on stage would blow my mind his drumming was so tight and clean,he was in a class of his own.

@itmsjim He sure is a bad actor! He couldn't even remember his lines! Watch him, he's constantly reading the cue cards! His sister was no better. The only reason either of them were ever on tv was because of their famous parents letting them ride their coattails. After there parents died, they faded from sight & memory because they were no longer getting a free ride to fame! Spoiled Hollywood brats!

Not true. Lucvi Arnez is a talented singer. I've played with her big band a couple of times...she does a lot of her father's latin charts. Very talented, very down-to-earth.

@Dakotanjulie I can say whatever I want to about anyone and they both suck as actors! Mommy & Daddy had to hand their careers to them or they never would have been on tv. I guess that Lucie Arnaz was a better actor than her brother, though. He was just awful!

@Thegrinch17 - What? Are you about 5 or 6?! "I can say whatever I want to about anyone...blah, blah, blah." Of course, you can but when you grow up, you will find that you get more from yourself AND others if you stay silent about the hurtful things you wish to say about others and speak up when you have something positive or uplifting to say. You'll learn this and then you'll see the difference. Also, adults don't "rebel" because they CAN say what they want because everyone wants to hear it!

@Dakotanjulie Because he doesn't make eye contact with the other actors in the scenes he is in sometimes and his eyes keep going to the same place, like someone is holding up his lines for him, which I'm sure they were. Watch him closely in the scene when he's talking to the drummer competing against him and you'll see what I'm talking about.

@Vintageart1994 - I agree. And.... it is always those who are "spoiled brats" themselves who are quick to say it about others. Heaven forbid someone else get an opportunity or simply be happy. The funny part is that if those people spent less time condemning others and more time pursuing what makes THEM happy then they'd have no time to comment on someone being " a spoiled Hollywood brat." Shows how little they know because Desi Arnaz Jr has been playing drums since he was about 3 or 4.
