Killing the Shutter? lol, the 1D's are built for shooting for that high Freq. This is not a piece of crap that dies when you take it rough. The Sense of the 1D's is to use them like that, so better blame your cheap Cams for being slow.

ok everyone stop stressing out! ok so what he used about 200 shots then, shutter life is 300,000. i have just updated from my 1D mk II N to this cam, my 1D MK II N has a shutter count of 1045,810 as of last check, origanal shutter mech!!! not saying this will be for all cameras but it sure held up on mine.

@xPaulHeinex High FPS is mainly used for sports photography aka wherever you have fast action sequences.

It's not really used for like landscape/mountain shots or shots of your genitals.

@xPaulHeinex, Sports photography and wildlife photography. Taking 10 shots in 1 second for 4 seconds gives you 40 shots to pick the best photo from, you may only get 4 out of 40 shots, which is far greater than taking 4 shots and getting nothing worth using.

@despeaux Dude he's right, that's not a cheap camera, you shouldn't even do that with a rebel. When you're shooting, ALWAYS have a lens on it.
