@11TheAnswer11 Over half of the 13 colonies were specifically founded because of protestants, quakers, and other religious groups. Heck, The Great Awakening was one the reasons America was able to grow and eventually become a country. Only a few were anti-clerical christian (didn't want religion with government) whereas over 45 were protestant and strongly approved the mixture of religion (not church) mixed with the government. There weren't any christians but they did approve the mixture.

Atheists do take into account the possibility of a God. Then, they see there is no evidence to support it, and plenty of reason to not believe it, and they dismiss the possibility. Heck, The Great Awakening was one the reasons America was able to grow and eventually become a country. Only a few were anti-clerical christian (didn't want religion with government) whereas over 45 were protestant and strongly approved the mixture of religion (not church) mixed with the government. There weren't any christians but they did approve the mixture.

You hear in a couple of Patriot Rider clips them telling their men/ woman not to cause violence, that it is a peaceful protest.
