Maybe its still looking for the moon. It may very well be a glitch in the firmware that has not been addressed since maybe your the first to find it. Anyways its important to at least align the mount in your house to where Polaris is. Align your index marks, (this all after you balance your scope) plug in your information into the kand control. Do a 3 star alignment, then look for the moon and see if mount acts the same. Make sure your mounts altitude is adjusted to your altitude where you live.
