high action is sooooooo much better than low action... just ask Yngwie Malmsteen ;) i like my action really high it sounds loads cleaner and much better control over bends and vibrato

Yngwie plays high but his strings are mega weak and he scallops. I doubt marshall harrison or Shawn lane could do High action, then again. Yngwie is quite pedestrian. No offense to him but he is nowhere near the pinnacle of guitar playing.

@johnaiton well i see what you're saying, i have no idea what Shawn Lane's action was like but Shawn was just inhuman. I genuinely find it easier and better to play higher action, low action is just not for me the guitar just doesn't sound nearly as good. I'd rate Yngwie pretty high as a guitarist but he does have a really unorthodox technique
