I agree it's lot harder to become a vet than a md. Takes a lot of love, passion, willpower, stomach and nerves. But it's rewarding at the end (i hope)

You kids are funny I graduated with a 3.9 GPA out of college and a 3.9 in high school and 3 years of vet experience working under 5 different vets. Getting into Vet school is 10 times harder than medical school. Only 28 vets schools.. good luck!

Getting into veterinary school is easily twice as difficult as getting into medical school, a lot of people don't realize that. Not only do you have to know the basics like chemistry, biology, and mathematics, you also have to memorize the complete anatomy of unlimited types of animals, instead of just humans. It's ridiculously complicated. I work in a vet. hospital and know of 8 people who became med. doctors because vet. schools waitlisted or rejected them. It's amazing!
