If you rode like this in the UK you would probablty be charged with Dangerous Driving and get at least a 12 month ban. The only time we see bikers splitting is when traffic has stopped or crawling along and even then they only go about 10mph.
it's obvious though that it's the norm over there since all the cars are positioned to allow motorbikes through.
@123iMV Hi ! Just to be more visible to other drivers. It attracts their concentration on their mirrors and prevents them from swerving. Well, in theory anyway. High beams also work for that.
got your message, great video man (y) When you said riding in Paris I was worried thinking of a very strong F rench accent but all was good. I like it.
Good advice. Do motorists there accept line splitting by motorcyclists? Here in Texas its seen as cutting and really not common or acceptable. It could cause some degree of road rage among cagers. I've only done it at one traffic light and several drivers were less then pleased with me.
@jhardy66617 I'm asian and I find my people's driving just disgraceful. Especially our women. Why can't they just stay in the rice paddies. If it wasn't for sex I'd say forget em.
Hey ParisianZee, your videos are great! through-out the past couple of days, I had the opportunity to watch ALL of your vids, each of which was very entertaining! I hope you keep it up, especially when the good weather gets here!
I did want to make a quick video request - I was curious as to how you got into riding, like what motivated you to become a rider today. I always find it fascinating hearing peoples stories and how the ended up where they are today. Keep up the great work!
@FmanFORPS3 Hi ! First of all thanks for the comments I really appreciate it. It's funny you should mention the past in general and why I got into motorcycling because that's precisely what I got out to do yesterday : vlog about my life until now (quickly) and about why I started motorcycling and why I started vlogging. But I didn't do it because I thought no-one would care. So, request noted, I'll probably post a vid about all of that in the near future. Cheers and thanks again.
Don't forget to throw those high beams on during the day when lane splitting/filtering. Its prob not legal but you are way more visible to the cagers. ;)
Life is better than having to explaining to a cop that you "didn't know they were on" lol
@aghostinashell2 I remember not so long ago reading a tutorial about how you can wire your turning signals so that you can use both sides at the same time. You should look for that modification on the internet I'm sure it can't be too hard to find. Warning signals can be very useful at times.
Thanks for the videos. They are really good! I am sure that in no time you will have lots of subscribers. Perhaps a more known motovlogger could mention you in one of their videos so that more people know about you. Either way i am sure your subscribers will increase considerably.
@Gen49671 Hey man thanks for watching ! As for the amount of subscribers, we'll see. As long as the ones who do watch the videos enjoy them, I'm truly happy. Of course being pointed out by one of the "classic" vloggers would make my day but I'm not really counting on it. If they feel like it, i'll be thankful - if they don't, it's cool too.
Great vid, When I first started filtering on my YBR 125 I managed to smash a guy's wing mirror off with my right hand brake XD

Nice video mate, can be extremely dangerous at speed, personally I describe it as russian roulette, just a matter of time no matter how good you are.
Filtering is brilliant and exhilarating but care must be taken.

Periphirique, it means "outskirts"
-kind of.. It makes perfect sense, the outskirts of paris is covered with tarmac, known as the paris periphirique :)
I remember because i once saw a war movie, where the general said to his soldiers: "I want our periphirique secured 5 minutes ago! GET TO IT!!"
This is the best video on filtering i've seen so far. Looking forward to see more from u z^^

@REC0IL89 Good thinking for the high beams. Until now I only used to flash them to avoid hairy situations. But keeping them on = good idea. Thanks
