very very unrealistic.... as u see the JU 87 B2 (which at 1940 this should be) doesn't fire back... well seeing as the Stuka being two manned.. a pilot and a rear gunner... now if a hawker hurrican dives in like shown its, dead meat no matter how slow the stuka is. stukas were suppose to be intercepted from their low rear so the gunner had no way to shoot...

stukas were not planes to hunt down others. they were bombing planes. of course there were easier to be shot down than the german hunting planes. but their effect on the ground troops will still horrible and not comparable to any other plane from the allies.

Second : the amount of pro-nazi BS I read here is totally amazing. The Luftwaffe may "rock", the BF 109 and the FW 190 may have been much better than anything else, the Luftwaffe pîlots may have been unbeatable, there is one hard fact that remains. any1 who played any kind of wwii fighter airplane game knows the stuka has no chance in an airfight :) it has a tottaly different role.

luftwaffe was an awesome airforce , their leadership sucked. You dont need to blind yourself that they did a huge stupid mistake making single huge formations with over thousand aircrafts and start bombing cities instead of finnishing off whats was left of RAF .

The Brits had problem, they were outnumbered by Luftwaffe. RAF would wish to fight only against Jagdwaffe.

First of all they had to prevent bombing U.K. by big number of bombers, so they primally were trying to destroy bombers.

Despite of that their losses were higher than one Me-109's (Me-110's were slaughtered), they could make them heavy losses also. 109's rocked Brits, but they were also able to rock them!

The ME-109 had about 15 to 20 minutes to fight over England. when the low fuel light came on they had to head back across the channel. A lot of them went into the water. I think they built over 30,000 of them. Late in the war they were outdated just like the Zero in the Pacific. In both planes at the end of the war, with low time pilots at the control they were known as targets. Stukas were sent unescorted to bomb radar installations. 100 MPH difference is huge in wartime. Spits 1:20 mins fuel.

@sarsanch The Ju-87 was a very effective dive bomber, used to great effect wherever the Luftwaffe had air superiority (e.g. the Eastern Front). Few other airplanes could hit ground targets with as much precision. However once air superiority was lost and enemy fighters got into the picture, the Ju-87 was a sitting duck. That doesn't make it a bad airplane.
