I looked it up before I touched them. If they are outside the burrow, it means they are old enough to survive without their mother. So, no worries.

@ladychroe Unfortunately not true! They still drink from their mother who comes by to look after them a couple of times a day. Even if hey already hop around outside!!! By touching it they get a smell the mother doesn't know and probably will reject them as a result.
