  • Was this train made in Japan?

  • i caught a hitachi home from school today 11/7/09. it kicked ass!!!!

  • Noo... I'm jealous, I haven't been on one since I was like.. 8 years old :(

  • out with the new in with the old. they truly were made to last. i think they're nearly 40 years old soon. :S

  • Hitachis kick ass. I might buy a paddack so I can have my own.

  • indeed, wouldn't we all.

  • Yes, I missed out in '03. The government sold them for $2,300 per car. U can still buy them from a guy in NSW. He'll deliver one to your yard on his truck for $10,000. It won't fit on my balcony at home though. I should just shift into one. It'd be wicked to turn one into a house. It could easily be done. Do you have a big backyard?? Maybe I can stash it at yours?? I'll connect it to electricity so if anyone touches it when i'm not there they'll be hardcore zapped.

  • ahwell. i'd just buy one and bomb it.

  • exactly 40 yrs

  • Nice vid bud. Did you know that empty car set was coming for you or were you there by fluke?

  • Thanks. My friend said that he saw a Hitachi on the Pakenham/Cranbourne line at around that time a few days before I filmed this, so I thought that I should check it out.
