Thanks so much for this video series. Extremely warm and informing. Sort of a validation on my passion for photography and new mistress cinematography. Great perspectives. I can watch it all day.
Jason Christopher on photographers v. directors, I disagree, it's not the same thing at all, unless you're talking solely about directing your talent. I merely took exception to his wording a bit. Then that last thing he said, "Steady work is very rare, but I can't sit in a cubicle," so true.
I'm studying Film in College (and also television production). My future plans are to go into Film Journalism and to become Editor-in-chief of a magazine. Learning about Film and Cinematography (at a lower scale than a graduate course) is maybe giving me an insight into how photographers and Art Directors of a magazine plan photoshoots and magazine covers, the lighting, the set and other things. Anyway, This documentary has given me a new vision into photography and cinematography. Thanks.
I thought your documentary was very well done and interesting. It's great to get insights from experienced photographers on their own individual approach to their work.

Wow, man. This is very well made.
I loved the subtle approach to the overall concept of this doc. Very nice lighting and directing.
I found the music on spot, though it's missing in the end credits! :P
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Drew,
I enjoyed it. Very well done.
Except of the very interesting photographers you interviewed I have to say bravo for the clear sound, consistent lighting and of course the titles.
