  • Just a matter of opinion but its better to completely remove the bindings in order to avoid causing "Sink holes" or "Dimples" in your base from the metal screws heating up and sucking in the base, also the brush dosnt actually smooth out the base but rather gives it texture (groves) for the water to bead and channel into, I would also run a cork brush after the wire brush to ensure there is no lingering wax...otherwise a great vid.

  • @CORYMEDLAR I completely agree. If you dont remove the bindings or loosen them , it will eventually warp the board. I usually dont do this just because I am usually very rough on my boards and they dont last long enough to get dimples or sink holes.. Im on my 3rd board this season

  • Hey man, the base cleaner takes that old wax off too. so you don't have to scrape it off lol i don't if its good for the board to be scrapping off the old wax.idk that's just my opinion tho.

  • can u use regular wax?like a candle or smth?

  • @wtfaccountffs NO NO NO NO

  • @CORYMEDLAR cause i couldnt find at any store and i used a candle..it was fine but ok i dont intend to do that again xD

  • Great song choice for a school project...

  • @emishrael haha i had a different song but it was removed by youtube so this was a random song thrown on.

  • Hey man i was just wondering. How tall are you?? I see you have a 155 youngblood and im worried that my 155 would be to big for park. Im 5- 8.5

  • @P3ncilTopp3r to big bro. for park i like it by my chin

  • @P3ncilTopp3r to big my bro, i'm 6'0 and i ride a 153 for park

  • on the second time around should you press lighter with the scraper so you don't take all of the wax off? honest question.

  • @Cashin13 its personal preference... do what you feel makes your board fastest.. experiment, this is simply my preferred method

  • when you wax it does it help protect from sticks, stumps, and rocks alittle better?

  • @The02polaris I wouldn't necessarily say it will protect your board against those things but it will help keep your board in good condition. If you hit rocks, stumps, and sticks it will still mess up your board regardless if its waxed or not.

  • @farmerfran53 ok but im still going to wax it... and i got the same board as you have in the video but different graphics

  • Tip: don't use a metal scraper as shown in the video, if it slips it can damage the base of your board ;P

  • hey nice bord! and arint you supposto use a plastic scrapper so it dous not scrach the bord?? and im not trying to start shit like that other fag jw

    msg me back thx

  • your not suppost to push the scraper, you pull it dumbass

  • @shrewsburyboarder34 haha wow thats funny! if you know how to do it why are you watching this tutorial?

  • @farmerfran53 i was showing my little brother faggot.

  • @shrewsburyboarder34 either way it doesnt matter way the scarper goes as long as you scrape the excess stuff off. I hope you pull it and slip and have the scraper slit you open, Sound fun? yea try pushing it .. LOSER

  • @farmerfran53 well if you use the plastic one you wont ruin your base and you wont cut yourself like the ltittle vag slitbetween your legs

  • @shrewsburyboarder34 dude if you know anything about waxing you would know to use the metal scraper first to remove any extruding edges then once u wax you use the plastic one.. stop talking crap untill you actually know what your talking about.

  • @shrewsburyboarder34 Dude if you were showing your little bro, just saying, why didnt you show him yourself instead of on youtube? i mean really you could have just as easily just gone well i havnt waxed mine for a little why dont you watch me :) but instead you went to youtube! congratz you have some messed up logic bro!

  • @shrewsburyboarder34 Why were u showin your brother if u no how to hot wax

  • @shrewsburyboarder34 it doasent really matter

  • does any iron work or does it have to be a special one. likr could i use a clothes iron
