I am a physics teacher and I would like to teach my students how to make algae oil. I am looking for the right algae to grow and where to buy it. Any help would be great!!!
Love IT!!! California needs to invest more in Green Tech!!! Prop 23 is down in the polls, but the Yes on 23 campaign just got a new influx of hot, anonymous cash, so we'll need to fend them off in the home stretch to Election Day.
Hit me back if you'd like to talk Prop 23. We're coming out with a bunch of great No on Prop 23 videos soon!
Youtube has allowed people to released so many wonderful energy alternatives and technological concepts that is awesome. The problem is that we live in a world where the controlled media bombards us with all the problems but never endorses those ideas which benefit man. If the corporations can't monopolize the idea...it gets no exposure. It's very sad when you think about where would would be as a society without the constant jamming of sticks by the Establishment in our technological spokes.
That was informative, funny and cute. I'm very much interested to know more about it. I've tried to find info but wasn't that lucky, I hope you won't mind to answer few of my question.
1. what is the ratio of ethnol and algae oil to get the desired result
2. Have you tried this diesel in you vehicle? and what was the result
What a great educator you are! Thank you very much for all your good work. Carbon sequestering, food, fertilizer, and fuel to boot. Nothing wrong with that!
wow i love wat ur doing .. i am a kid also 17 and i am highly interested in wat you are doing please send a message i would love to chat on wat u are working on.
We picked the Blue-Green Algae, actually edible. However most of the Algae needs to be pressed in order for it to release its oil. Hey --thanks for the interest --I will ask Alexandria to comment as well and see which one had the layer of oil that was released spontaniously --Don Guillermo
it is true that botryococcus braunii produces oil even without pressing, but remember, it is not all the oil that the algae got, it is only the biofilm matrix.

We already use it in our vehicles down here in Texas. There are already a few fueling stations popping up too.
