According to Dr. Paul, at the time of 9/11, we were spending $20 Billion per year to find out what our threats were. The information was there but it was buried. One FBI reported pertinent information 70 times, but it was totally ignored. He would do whatever he could to investigate, but he said that we also have to "move forward" to prevent future occurrences. "We have a lot of intelligence out there that we have gathered; we don't have enough intelligent people figuring it out."

Great stuff...this guy is America's last hope. If he doesn't get in there's gonna be big trouble. Regarding 911, where there's freedom there is justice. Get the man in the oval office and justice will prevail, not only for the victims of 911 but for Oklahoma, Waco, Ruby Ridge, the Kennedys, King, and a whole lot of other crimes that point to corrupt elements of government.
I think Mr Paul would suffer the same fate as JFK if he were to somehow be ellected, the criminals who run things aren't going to just let someone walk in and put a stop to their plans.
No candidate I've seen in the last few decades, at least, has been a better friend of the people than Ron Paul seems to be. If the Ron Paul Revolution doesn't succeed to put this man into office, I'm sorry to say that I think we could be looking at a second American Revolution very soon after.
When he uses words like "cover-up" regarding 9/11, people think he's implying that the government was directly responsible for the attacks. What he has said in other interviews in a more direct way is that he does not believe the government had any role in the attacks, and the investigations have shielded the intelligence people who should have been singled out as being asleep at the wheel. He'll be dismissed as a kook if he doesn't distance himself from the conspiracy loons.

Don't get me wrong - I think the government has done lots of covert things to other countries thinking they were doing something in our best interests. My point was that even though Paul hasn't given them any reason, the 9/11 conspiracy folks are hearing what they want to hear.
Maybe it's not the 'government doing something in our best intrest.' But rather for greed and corperate intrest like the industrialization of the military Eisenhower warned us about. Watch the film on google called "IRAQ FOR SALE" you'll see what I mean ;).
He wasn't talking about any 'inside job': he meant the cover-up to protect careers and reputations.
Ron Paul does not believe that it was an inside job, and he did well to ignore the 'truthers' true intent of the questions.
Ron Paul is already my president, and I need no election to prove it.
