When I was a teenager I worked & earned money for college by cutting grass and working for landscapers and residential construction crews. My 18 year old son can't get those same jobs because the LANDSCAPERS and CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS hire ONLY ILLEGAL MEXICANS!!! I think the Sheriff brings a perspective often lost in the discussion about immigration reform and raises a good point about the economic impact it will bring to municipalities and taxpayers. States and counties already are strapped for funds and having to cut essential services; having this law in place only increases that burden. Also, one has to note that the fear campaign about the border towns is false and appears being used merely as subterfuge.
