but, i prefer grass fed beef only and these are fed grain, which is not good. grass fed is sometimes hard to find.

It's perfectly fine to eat cows that eat grain too - it really depends on what is in the grain, not just the fact that they're eating grain. I'd much rather eat beef that was fed good grain than eat beef that ate only grass with pesticides, for instance. Grain, in and of itself, is not bad.
