This is sheer politics that in 1965, this film didi not get filmfare award for music score despite excellent music score by OP Nayyar Sab. All songs are gem and are specially created. It is an irony that such creations were not recognised. According to me, the music score of this movie could have been/can win award handsdown any year, including the year 2012

I remember this playing in my dad's car 6 years ago when i was a kid. I loved it then but did not understand/appreciate fully and I still love it perhaps even more now as I am able to fully appreciate the beauty of this song.

I used to collect these videos for my mother on VHS. My mother would explain the songs and history behind. Growing up in Canada I was inclined to the Beatles, Led Z, Dire Straits,....etc, however, slowly I became a fan and started to understand hindi.

My mother/friend passed away recently. I find solace in these songs as I grieve for my loss.

I just wanted to say thanks to you and the artists for creating such masterpieces though not fully appreciated by some in this generation.
