John Williams is an amazing guitarist.  saw him play his Hawaiian Slack Key guitar once and was totally blown away.

This is a different John Willams. He is an Irish American from Chicago and one of the foremost Irish Trad musicians. He plays multiple instruments but his focus is accordion and concertina. He was a member of that fine group Solas and he wrote the music for the movie "Road to Perdition".

I moved from Chicago several years ago and have yet to see him perform live.

If you like Irish trad or good music in general check out his recordings.His 2nd solo CD "Steam" is a masterpiecec IMHO.

"steam" is one of my alltimefavs! relaxed and deep into music!

i allways thought of oll three john williams schould be arrested into a recording studio for a weekend-i would be very interested in the results!
