i remember winning a spacehopper at our local fair in the 70's a big orange thing with a face on my dad won it on the darts stall .............. needless to say when i got it home and tried to inflate it it was full of holes off the darts i was soooooooo disapointed as a 6 yr old kid i never got over the trauma lol

I've always known it as a spacehopper too in the UK and they have made a bit of a comeback, although they are much smaller than I remember them, ot perhaps I'm bigger. Interestingly "Oily Rags" are better known here as "Chas and Dave" and later had a few hits. Strangely they recorded an album with Oliver Nelson too.
