  • Sounds good. Check mine out I got true duals with h pipe

  • What does an H or X or Y pipe even do?

  • @TomahawksURmum

it balances the exhaust,in other words both headers will pass through both tail pipes.

  • If I put an H or x pipe on of would I put it in front of the mufflers or behind or does it not even matter

  • @jim151856151 Your H X or Y pipe goes in front of the muffler.

  • Hey i've been lookin at a new muffler for my truck lately, i got the flowmaster american thunder sytem with the super 40 SI/DO. do u think the super 10 would sound as good as ur true dual setup if i replaced my super 40 with it? thanks.

  • @MrChevySilverado1 It will make a big difference swapping out the 40 and putting in a 10 series. It prob won't sound exactly like mine, but it'll still sound beastly.

  • @JesseBoom700

Hey thanks for the reply. i got one other question though, how bad is the drone at about 60? cus i drive my truck alot so just wonderin if the drone might get annoying. thanks.

  • @MrChevySilverado1 It actually doesn't drone much at all. I don't even notice it on the highway! I may be used to it too.

  • @JesseBoom700 Awesome, one last question then i'm done. Have u ever gotten in trouble for it being too loud when ur driving down city streets? also what size piping do u have going into the mufflers, or is that 2.5 too... thanks again and i will most likely get a SI/DO super 10 for my truck which just happens to be a blue version of ur truck haha.

  • @JesseBoom700 Dude i'm sorry i posted my last message like 3 times cus i didnt think it was posting them haha sorry bout that

  • @MrChevySilverado1 haha its cool, but yeah, I never had a problem with them being to loud. Of course i'm not i the city or anything. Yeah they are 2.5" inlet/outlet . They are good trucks. Have this for about 5 years now. Getting some rust though...around 187k and still running good!

  • @JesseBoom700 Damn right there good trucks, i got mine as a grad present with 160,000 on it and i never plan on selling it. and as for the loudness of the truck i know i drive mostly on the highway and the little i have to drive in town i'll just have to take it easy on the gas haha. also my inlet pipe would be 3" u dont think that would make much of a diff? thanks again!

  • @MrChevySilverado1 yeah gas prices really suck right now. Thats nice that you drive mostly highway. Thats alot easier on a vehicle than town driving! 3" inlet piping shouldn't make much of a difference at all. If anything, it may have a deeper tone.

  • @JesseBoom700 Ok well thanks again and i'll try and get a video of my truck up if i get my super 10!

  • i've got the same set up on my truck now, thanks for the video post. it sounds badass

  • @MrEmery2010 Thanks man. What truck do you have?

  • @JesseBoom700 its a 2000 silverado with 5.3. i'm gonna put a cold air intake on it this summer so hopefully that'll make it even louder lol

  • i've got the same set up now because of this video, thanks for posting this

  • i got the same set up on my 2000 and it sounds sick specially when u get on it, but its quite enough where the police wont bother me if im not getting on it

  • Fuck!!!.....these sound pretty good, dudes!....I will be installing a pair of these Flows 10 Series on my classic C3 Corvette!....I'm currently running 40 Series, but after hearing this clip, I'm sold on the 10s!....I want an even more aggressive, louder tone, and these puppies are gonna do the trick!

  • @1aceves Thanks man! You were just like me. I had true dual 40 series before this, they sounded awesome but i just wanted something louder and more aggressive sounding. After hearing a few trucks around my area with 10 series, i decided to get them. The video does no justice, its a huge difference. You'll love them!

  • do you think I could get a 10 series on 1992 chevy silverado 1500

  • @43broncosfan42 yeah, if its a 350 it will sound amazing. Are you talking 1 muffler or running duals? Either way it will sound nice

  • sounds hella nice!

  • Hey man your truck sounds awesome. I have a Flowmaster Super 44 on my Jeep GC 4.7. It sounds good, but I want something louder. Can I ask how much louder the Super 10 is compared to you old 40 series? Interior and exterior? Thanks

  • @4wheeler14 they were much louder and deeper. Very aggressive

  • hey man sorry for bugging you so much, but do you think you could do a video for the inside of the truck while driving? That would be very appreciative.

  • Hey i got one more question if you dont mind, how are those mufflers on the highway? cause i do a few hours of free way driving every weekend. Which is 65-75 miles an hour the whole way. Are the as loud as the super 44s in the cab? thanks.

  • @NICK00065 I honestly think they mellow out around highway cruising speed. I really don't even take notice anymore lol

  • thanks man i appreciate it. Sorry i didnt mean to send that comment twice haha

  • hey man i got a 04 silverado with a 5.3 like yours. I got a single 40 series on it right now. i want something much louder. how happy with yours are you? do you think mine would sound good if i got headers hi flow cats h-pipe with 3in piping? or would it be better to keep stock manifolds and stock cats but still do the true dual 10s with a h pipe? replys would be awesome. I love the truck btw.

  • @NICK00065 The 10 series are the way to go if you want louder, deeper, and more aggressive. I'm very happy with it, huge difference. I'm not sure how much headers will help with sound. The cats from factory are basically highflow cats already, so it won't make much a difference at all. 3 inch piping will make the tone deeper, but not sure if it will be too noticeable. Just switching to true dual 10 series will be a huge difference

  • @NICK00065 I don't have a Y, H, or X pipe on mine. Each manifold is running separate from each other. If you don't like popping and such on the down rev, I would get an H or X pipe.

  • i gotta 05 silverado, i got it a few months ago and i thought it had some 60 series on it, it didnt sound as aggresive as others ive heard. but i went to the muffler shop today and i asked a guy what he thought and at first he said they had 40s already and then i asked again to clarify and he said ya they are flowmasters, which i already new, idk if he understood what i was askin he was kinda slow, but after hearin this im really considering some 10s. so you like them a lot?

  • @ClarkandDixie good choice in the truck! But yeah the 60 series are mellow, i really like the 10 series, the camera that i'm using doesn't do justice. Its different from my 40 series video. They're alot sharper and aggressive sounding. It sounds mean. Don't get me wrong, the 40 series sound great too, but they're arent as loud seeing as they are double chambered mufflers and the 10 series are tiny little single chambered mufflers.

  • sounds real good man! might get me some of them instead of the 40s

  • @ClarkandDixie thanks man, the 10 series are def louder and deeper, the 40 series sound really nice, but are kinda mellow on these trucks. What truck or car are you planning on getting this done too?

  • if only every other Honda with an exhaust sounded like that

  • Sounds good man.
