This is true... I AM an employer... and I dont look at resumes longer than 6 seconds. You want a job? Your first test is to show enough tenacity to get past the receptionist and talk to me directly. Anyone else aint worth hiring ;)
but wtf are we going to say to you when we do talk to you directly? The times I have done that they've been a bit awkward. "Oh, well I'm a good candidate, I really am, I really really am."
heidi that was wonderfuly put together again,spot on as well in england we dont have to give our age on our cv now. anyway i reckon once your a famous actress you'l have the last laugth lol.

Everyday the number of people born goes up exponentially. Sadly it costs to be alive and more thought should be given to how ones offspring is going make there living before the even born. My solution is people should learn to just love sex for the hell of it

That's why I never put my age on my resume and I always ask to speak to the manager before I ask about if there are jobs available. That way the manager can put a face to the resume and know that you REALLY want a job. So far it's worked for me!

My Mum used to work for an employment agency and she told me never to put your age on the resume because technically that's an illegal question for an employer to ask you. Most employers ask in the interview anyway, but by that stage they probably like you enough not to care.
Really Robo, i didn't know that was illegal for an employer to ask but i guess they will find out in the interview anyhow like you said. :-) I'll think about that for next time.
