The Scrubs sign next to the Janitor @ :52 is facing the correct way. The running inside joke of the show, that was brought up by fans throughout the run of the show, is that the [scrubs] x-ray during the opening titles is backwards. This is touched on in ep. 5.23 where Elizabeth Banks' character Kim Briggs interrupts the normal title sequence, saying "That's backwards! It's been bugging me for years."
The question is, was this done purposely as a joke or by a clueless production designer?

Didn't see that coming; I was watching the movie this christmas and suddenly my favourite comedy show popped up!
Love how McGinley does the 'sad hands behind head' thing when he's not even in the role!
