  • Would you consider presenting a lesson on how to play "I'm One" by the Who? I haven't been able to find a decent version anywhere, and would love to see it played out. I think your lessons are fantastically helpful and well presented. I appreciate the time you take to share your knowledge/skill.

  • Thank you so much for all your tommy videos!

i outta rock at the play now ;)

  • that is really well done! its a great song and your playing is superb. The slow version makes it real easy to see some of the more difficult parts of the song are played. Great Job

  • Geez man U R very good!!!!!!!!! : D

  • Wow, that's great! (I'll have to try practicing on the toilet more often myself! Haha!) And all the strings are tuned normally except that the low E is tuned to D?

  • thanks! the part at 1:05 is very hard but I hope it work out this was very helpfull, thanks a lot

  • Bravo. Do you have a specific tab you use for this? I'd love to take a look!

  • No, sorry, I don't have a Tab...

  • How then did you learn it? If you say by ear I will hate you forever! :) I'm having a hard time figuring out the four chords after the main riff at the beginning. Do you have tab for those? Thanks, and again, great playing!

  • Believe it or not, I learned this song on the toilet. The Tommy company management forgot to send me the score prior to the "Tommy"-audition in 1995. It was the Broadway-version that went to Germany back then. Then somebody handed me the score (standard notation) one hour before the audition, the only room where I could practise that was quiet was the toilet. I locked myself in there, learned the song and luckily got the job. The four chords are (from low to high) 000760, 000570, 000460, 000570.

  • Thansk for the info. I'm a school music teacher in the US. Our school is performing Tommy. I figured I'd try to learn some of the songs on guitar even though I'm not the greatest player. I'm a singer/pianist, but have played guitar for approximately 2 years. I was hoping to find a correct tab for this and other songs that I may be able to work on. Any suggestions where to go? I'm nervous about the tab online because it's rarely correct. The first tab I found for It's a Boy was awful.

  • thank you sir

  • Great stuff - Thanks very much !

  • Thanks Peter, such a fantastic song played by yourself - can't wait to start playing it.
