However we love each other so much, and we agreed to wait til I'm legal to do anything too serious. And it's not that my parents' don't like him, it's that they don't like his age. They love him otherwise. So I'm kinda just passing the days til i'm 18 or over. Haha. =)

My sister just legally became an adult and has been dating the same guy of and on since her freshman year in high school and they are about the same years apart as my mom and dad were and there were a few times after my sister's boyfriend graduated he cheated on her in every sense of the word. Both of my sister's lost there virginity at about 14.

Hah true. Just about every guy I've dated that talked about a 'oooh crazy ex!' was actually crazy himself! I refuse to talk about my exes with guys, unless they ask. And I don't talk about the ex but just specific things they've done or characteristics that I've hated. I will also use crappy exes as a guideline for weeding out bad guys. Other than that I figure my past relationships are none of their business.

Asking a person the length of their last relationship and using that as a predictor of their 'relationship potential' isn't always the best thing. Their last relationship could have been very short because their ex was completely whack and so they broke it off. I mean at least they were smart enough to get out of that sooner than later. I think that shows self confidence and actually more relationship potenial than someone who chooses to staywith a loser (or bitch) for a long period of time.
