  • To answer Quentin Wilson's question, Reliant was successful because it also made great sports cars like the Scimitar coupe and Scimitar GTE, and also four-wheeled variants of their three wheelers (i.e. Reliant Rebel and Reliant Kitten, which I am fond of.)

  • My mum and dad drove all the way to czechoslovakia as it was then known from the midlands in one of these in 1969.....and back again.

  • the thing i noticed with them they used to smell inside and mine got tipped over once by yobs with hoods on lol

  • @hanghoodiescum

youre right they do have their own particular smell, mix of fibreglass, stale fuel and damp carpets

  • Do you have by any chance the Imp and Lada episode?! Can´t find it no where!!

  • they should have kept the bond 875 imp engined three wheeler.

  • The Bond Bug looks safer and nicer than the God-awful G-Wiz.

  • Get a TV card dude.

  • Sad that Reliant has also gone since this was made.

  • It;s funny, but Ray wiggins LOOKS like the chairman of a firm that builds 3-wheelers
