@coolana429 The melodies, the rhythm, the overall music is just generic. Lyrics are bridging generic as well. I can name like...20 bands off the top of my head that blow these guys out of the water. To be honest, they can have a following, they can have a life as musicians, but they will never turn any heads because they're doing what many many artists are doing today. Bands and Artists like Taking Dawn, Christina Perri, The Reign of Kindo, etc. They push boundaries and stay true to the music.

I really don't care, I just dislike seeing fellow musicians doing what everyone else is doing and not staying true to what music is all about....evolving and doing something great. Sure the fans may like it, and sure its catchy, etc....but for the love of god try innovating? Furthermore, keep your eyes open to the world...I'll be making my entrance soon.

@ToSaveALife1000 Lyrics are lyrics, that is a part of it. But being a guitarist I analyze the music first, before the lyrics. The melodies are in thousands of songs, the guitar and bass is dull, and the drums are just boring. If they can get signed to a label, they should be able to do more than "play it safe" musically. Music is about so many things, and this just pisses me off. Furthermore, who said anything about music for god not being music. Johnny Cash, prime example of good music.
