Most of the times your versions are very good and do the originals a great justice. I also think the new drum (well I don't know how "new" it is) sounds a lot better than the older one. I remember paddling a canoe with some friends in the worst storm any of us had ever seen, this song was sung by all of us loud across the lake to each canoe in our group. We sang it over and over until we hit the opposite bank. You did good sir!

But your voice is so much richer in this performance, and it really adds to the somber tone of the song. You definitely have a masterful understanding of folk music vocals
