Lol, Even tho I'm norwegian, Icelandic and norwegian is two languages that is SO similar it's funny... (Icelandic is directly linked with Old-Norse, while Norwegian is Old-Norse influented mostly by Danish, but for example many Norwegians understand written Icelandic, and most Icelandics should understand written norwegian TO SOME EXTENT^^ but still cool to understand a so different language quite fully^^

i know! ^^ im from sweden and i can understand WRITTEN icelandic just like that. spoken icelandic is a bit more difficult though...a friend of mine went to iceland and she picked up the language in like half a week!
