1. hold down the M button and then press 1 or 2 in your desired position for about 5 sec. This will program you seat and mirror settings
2.That's a CD holder slot. They don't actually play from there, it's just a neat place to house your extra CDs.
3. This door seal part is just held down by double sided 3m tape It looks like whoever owned the car (probably another crappy dealer) just threw some cheap stuff on there of tried to reused the old stuff Clean it and replace with 3m Double Sided

I'm guessing your 996 is a 1999. Have you needed any major repairs? I have a 2001 996.

1. Seats not sure
2. They sell tape at checker for applying side skirts that will hold the side scuff plate on.
3. Your cd's do not play from there that is just to store your discs.. You should have the player in your trunk that you put your discs.
4. Spoiler switch could be relay etc.
