  • Watched this in Windows 98!

  • @Techsnap Why did you destroy Windows 98 SE at the end of the video?

  • Watched on Windows 98.

  • Get 98SE2ME, it makes the ultimate OS.

  • We're not just making 98 look newer, but also run better then ever. 98 this way can kick xp out to the curb easily. And this was in 2009. Now its even better at MSFN. Go there and try the packs out its great. I'm using them now and have never been happier with any other system. Forget those over bloated newer systems. 98 will deliver in ever way you need with the right SP and mods from msfn. Its amazing

  • my windows 3.1 is better then 7 :)

  • open your mouth while talking so it could be possible to understand you.

  • Here are some good news Techsnap! The good news is, that a Blooper didn't appered at this time, Techsnap!

  • Is it a BETA release. Are you sure?

  • @Techsnap Why does XChat Refuses to run in Windows 98?

  • @TheProductreviewsinc xchat sucks pretty much, imo

  • @Techsnap You know?, If would a Blooper appered, why does always a Blooper apperears?

  • is this the real windows 98 ?

  • "Everybody's dead, Dave"

  • @colcoomagnumar RED DWARF!!!!

  • just shows you that from xp onwards microsoft used lots of bloatware i like the small size of this!

  • No wonder Apple has overtaken MS. When a theme pack and a few OS tweeks can almost mimic a brand new OS you know you done goofed.

  • @SovietSlayer Yes, because an OS is only about the theme you have. How retarded are you?

  • @LeoNatan25 I could ask you the same. Theme AND tweaks, you know the tweaks that allow you to run modern applications.

  • @SovietSlayer What modern applications exactly? Open Office? Opera? LOL.

  • why did you talk when the windows98 starting song was playing!!

  • Nice,Now Install NFS Hot Pursuit Classic,NFS Hot Pursuit 2010,Grand Theft Auto,And GTA IV.

  • @eduds6 Crysis and Metro 2033 too!

  • Only thing I didn't like in these videos was the boot screen. Why remove all nostalgic value? I can understand making it look more modern, but at least keep the boot screen.

  • @ThatEnglishFella It's part of the third party tools which I used to update the system. I think there's an option to switch that off though.

  • @Techsnap Anyway, thanks for uploading these. I really enjoyed them. Subscribed. :)

  • @Techsnap I actually like the bootscreen. You should try 98se2me, which combines 98se and Windows me.

  • KernelEx : That is the click here to continue button.

  • Revo-flipping-lutions! OMG

  • Brilliant videos mate !

Was very interesting to see this classic OS living and breathing.

  • Considering I only allocated 512 MB of RAM... It only needs 64 MB!

  • Why would you want 98 to look like XP? The first thing I do on XP is set the theme to Windows Classic so that it looks more like 98 lol.

  • @artifactingreality cauz XP RULEZ!@!!!!! f%)! yeah!!!!

  • @artifactingreality I do this to Vista!

  • Could you send me a youtube message with the links to all the programs that you installed on Win98?

  • I bought a Windows 98 SE disc recently off eBay and it arrived today! I'm installing it on a spare PC. Why? Cause it reminds me of when I was like 8 years old :P

  • only 35.5 mb used?

    dang..........

sounds like by using just windows 98, you will be able to get more out of your pc these days

I still got the installation CD from years ago, but I losted the product key -_-'

  • @jiaoyinyang This product key will work: VP9VV-VJW7Q-MHY6W-JK47R-M2KGJ

  • i appreciated it
