  • god his is sick!!!

  • omg mj was so good! look at all these shots hes making. i cant believe ive never watched this game on youtube. anybody who says he wouldt dominate in todays league is retarded. is he 33 here on 23? lol. he was just KILLIN them. jumper is perfect, hangtime layups r perfect, defense is good.

  • 6:22 incredible fakes

  • his efficiency is incredible..

  • Anyone else see 1:03, MJ was out of bounds?

  • @NocturneLover808 Yes he was, but it's happening so fast, the referee didn't see it

  • He's just dominate, MJ is. His jumpers were crazy

  • he was pretty good, but im better.

  • best ever - nobody dominated the NBA as completely, as consistently, or for as long as MJ

  • his best year is 96 97 98...he is getting smarter and he wants to get involved his team mates also...

  • He is better then Kobe, its official.

  • @Lorenshyne hard to believe there are people who actually think otherwise.

  • @nickhershey yeah no shit. some people try to compare Kobe to him, but fail to realize that he is a poor man's MJ. that's no disrespect, just the truth

  • @Lorenshyne no it's not official.. How can Jordan be someone when there isn't any comparison at the first place. Jordan is best of the best

  • Best uniforms in NBA history

  • the best year for mj was 92-93

  • @anibalprc arguable, although i can agree that MJ had his best complete scoring during his first 3peat. He was young enough to be Air Jordan, but old enough where he developed his jumpshot. overall though i would say 89 was his best year. 33ppg, 8 reb per game, 8 ast per game, .8 blk per game, 3 stl per game

  • Wow.. nobody plays like him... I wonder who will be good as him or better in the future.

  • out of bounds at 1:11 anybody notice that?

  • What year was MJs BEST?

  • Jordan actually looks more agile and faster then he ever had been, his shooting was accurate a lot of the time,

  • man that he got so high on that jumpshot

  • @5:30 dude in the stands on the left side of the basket is sick of jordan busting the bucks ass lol.....mad funny

  • @SamuraiSwoosh dude why are you even bringing up kobe's name on a mj video? you should know that though he is a good/great player he is not on mj's league. kobe is a star because he's emulated mj's game to the fullest but he isn't on that level. i've seen both play and the inconsistencies and lack of physical abilities keeps kobe's game limited -> thus the 3's. he was shooting turn around fadeaways in his prime but look at how many he shoots now. he'll get killed now

  • i think this should end the whole kobe 81 points argument:

that raptors team lost in the preseason to a euro league team...only team to ever do so at that point. so the raptors were clearly a powerhouse that season...

  • lol jordan steped out at 1.13..fucking nba refs

  • @dpistons149 thats what i thought when i first saw that play, but he didnt step out. its just look like that because of that blue barrier.

  • @dpistons149

    lol it's a table.

  • and lebron had the nerve to say that he spoiled cleveland with his play (after a playoff defeat)....this is what you call spoiling a city....6 titles and a 72-win season....sit down young one.

  • I think it's safe to say that you are the G.O.A.T when you're on the road and the fans of the home team are cheering for you.

  • I think it's safe to say that you are the G.O.A.T when you're on the road and the fans of the home team are cheering for you.

  • I think it's safe to say that you are the G.O.A.T when you're on the road and the fans of the home team are cheering for you.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh when guys like nate robinson can score 43 points in todays nba, tells me that scoring 40 or more nowadays don't mean jack. kobe scores a lot, but he also misses a lot and takes a lot of bad shots. free throw shooting due to foul calls is now over the roof in the nba. people don't think about that.

  • at 2:24 that jumper is impossible to block. impossible. You'd have to be a young KG to get to that....and there's no way Jordan wouldn't blow by you if you were that close

  • @jagemobe Even KG couldnt get that. The only way ur gettn dat jumper is if u come from behind. Jordan truly was the 1st player ever to master the art of shooting at the peak of ur jump and with those kinda hops its no surprise that he could get his shot off whenever and wherever he wanted to.

  • @Zachrydaman ...doesn't seem like much of an argument here. I'm pretty sure KG could conceivably get to that, being a 7-footer with hops AND length. But in a practical sense, Mike would either blow by him or freeze him, then take the jumper.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh I actually criticize ALL those players for playing horrible team ball. Disgraceful on all counts, Kobe included. Now grow up, STFO, and enjoy the 2nd half.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh , Precisely, because great players see no need to "go off" on horrible teams. It's unprofessional and unbecoming...like JV playing their hardest against freshmen. But great scorers can go off at any time: Robinson's 71, Thompson's 73, Gervin's 63 in 32 minutes, Bird scoring 60 to reclaim most pt scored by a Celt after Mchale dropped 56. 81 IS ridiculously high, but others could get there. Notably, in the playoffs, when Kobe can't face bad teams, he has nothing close.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Jordan has scored 57 pts in 37 minutes, sitting out the vast majority of the 4th. I remember hating that because I knew Jordan would have easily gotten 70+ that game. It happens. Jordan could explode to score as many as his team needed at any time.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Dude, Kobe once...count it...once put up more than MJ ever did, and against the worst defensive team, with a dozen pts scored in garbage time. That hardly makes Kobe "more explosive". Kobe just likes to pick on bad teams. Jordan saw that as beneath him. He picked on the big dawgs.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Samurai, good post man, but MJisKing is definitely a student of the game, although a Jordan fan, as am I. You said it in your last line, "Kobe is a poor man's Jordan". Honestly, no shame in that.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Again how can someone be more of a explosive scorer when he cant score against great defensive teams? Jordan would score against the best teams in the league while Kobe shoots horrible percentages and cannot get 50 against a great defensive team. No to mention No handchecking def helps his game.

  • @MJisKingKobesuckss Jordan went against weaker teams/players; who was his competition in the 90s? No one. 81, 63 in 3Q, 9 straight 40, 4 straight 50. Kobe is NOT MJ, but when your sn has "Kobesucks" in it you lose credibility because we know you dislike him. Kobe is one of the greatest offensive players ever. They don't even call handchecking that often; in Jordan's era, he was allowed to go ISO, while in 2001, they allowed zone def, so no more ISOs (ie. Pistons/Celtics D). Give the man credit.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh LOL@ this guy and pigs fly it's not that hard in the league today as Tex winters said to get 40 or 50 in the game due to the rules. Again Kobe only 1 50 point game in the playoffs and against the suns who dont play D. If Kobe was just as explosive or just as good it would come out in actual numbers but it is not. Keep posting bullshit my friend no ones buying it.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh And you definitely come across as a Kobe stan and a Kobe apologist. Kobe is a great player but does not have anything on MJ....Explosiveness was the stupid thing to say. I think you would agree with me now.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh You made the critical error of saying Kobe is more Explosive without taking into opponent and rule changes...If you did not know for perimeter players they shot more ft's that year do to Hand checking being curtailed..Hence why Wade shot so many ft's in NBA finals...I'm sorry you made such a stupid error by saying explosive.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh You will shy away from the discussion and you will not talk about kobe being overrated as a offensive scorer when most of his 50 point games where against gutter teams while Jordan scored high amount of points vs the best defensive teams?

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Does the elite competition include the 86 celts? Of course that mavs team was overrated next year out in the 1st round clearly was one of the most overrated NBA finalist of all time.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Moron he scored 54 pts in the last three qtrs....Of course we know your 12 years old and just started watching ball in 2004...Its was qtrs 2-4 imagine if he had a hot 1st qtr....Again your are a lost fan who gets owned on a dime.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Apparently you know the difference between playoff ball and regular season ball. Jordan 63 against a top 3 team all time celts in the playoffs?

Again more excuses from a kobe stan? Clearly you are lost in the hype..

  • @SamuraiSwoosh I dont know what I'm talking about???Well I guess Kobe can score all these points in the playoffs? One 50 point game against the suns in how many years in his playoff career? HMMM Do they play D... Obviously there is a difference between playoffs ball and reg season ball..I guess you do not get it. By the way the Heat were ranked 12 in D...MORON

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Those MAVS never played D so dont go there. There ranking was 11th highly overated defensive team. No wonder they were exposed a year later by the golden state...

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Jordan scored 56 in the playoffs vs Heat in the playoffs let me add in 3qtrs...OK than I thought so. Kobe is benefited by rules...No handchecking defensive 3 seconds. Now if kobe was so explosive why does he only have 1 50 point game in the playoffs vs the no D suns in 14 seasons? Jordan has 8 50 point games in the playoffs. Kobe scores against weak teams.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Plenty of players have been "well on the way" to huge games before sitting out the fourth bc the game is a blowout. Jordan as well. Kobe is not "signficantly" greater from 3. He is barely better.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Yes, Kobe did stay in garbage time. 12 of his pts came in the last 4 minutes of the game with his team up double points. He kept chucking, never passing the ball. Disgraceful. Yes, Robinson, Thompson, and Gervin were stat padding as well. yes, Kobe is more explosive than Robinson and Malone. So was Jordan. Moot point.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Once again, show me where I said Bryant "only" abuses bad teams? I said FAR more of his big games come against bad teams and defenses, where he bullies lesser talent. I dont care what I "come across as", I care about what REALITY is. Kobe is Kobe. Stop comparing him to Jordan. That's a battle Kobe can't win.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Kobe is not a more explosive scorer. Kobe had a single 81 pt game, against the worst defense in the league, and stayed in during garbage time to pad his stats. That hardly makes him more explosive than Jordan. David Thompson scored 73 in a game. Robinson 71. Gervin and Karl Malone scored 63 and 61 through 3 quarters. They weren't more explosive either.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh

Kobe's ridiculous scoring nights much more frequently occurred against BAD teams, which Jordan did not try to go off on, because he didn't need to.

Jordan's ridiculous games far more frequently came against good to great teams and defenses.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh

Winning % of teams Jordan scored 50+ on: 55%.

Winning % of teams Kobe scored 50+ on: 45%

Of Kobe's 25 games of 50+ pts, only 9 came against teams of .500 or above

Only 7 were against teams with 50 or more wins

Of MJ's 39 games of 50+ pts, 31 came against teams of .500 or above

14 were against teams wth 50 or more wins, and many were agaisnt #1 ranked defenses.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Yes, it is technically VERY true. I have the stats to back it up, which I will post. My post screams TRUTH and REALITY. I'm sorry it's hard for you to handle that. Jordan did NOT bully all teams. Yes, Jordan had bad shooting nights. Kobe has had FAR more. Kobe has abused a few good teams, but not nearly to the extent Jordan did, who abused FAR more great teams. Yes, Kobe's 62 against Dallas is one of the FEW big games against a good team he has had.

  • @SamuraiSwoosh Here's the problem though. Kobe's "hot nights" come against bad teams. Jordan didn't bully bad teams like that, he got his team involved. Jordan's big games came against good to great teams. Jordan scored 19 in the last 5:30 of a close game against Vancouver in 1996 after having only 10 before that point. He easily could have had 80-100 that game if he had been gunning for it. FYI, Jordan's had 57 in 37 minutes.

  • MJ, from 96-98 had so much fun playing. Just pure joy. Damn, Bill Wennington had the best seat in the house during those years for the dunks, jumps, drives, amazing fades. Truly the GOAT, and he didn't even look like he was trying.

  • it's so funny how Jordan did extreme travels like @ 3:35 and no one said nothing!!!

  • I would love to play one on one with Jordan. Just to get owned so badly.

  • he is the best basketball player who ever liv3d

  • The king Of Basketball !

  • only reasdon i love chicago and love to live here

  • 5:26 is a perfect example as to why it was so hard to double MJ. The double didn't even have time to develop.

  • @BillieBobSmith DAMN you DUDE!!! lick my balls.........YOU ARE PIECE OF SHIT!!! here...

  • thanks for the vid , beautiful play by MJ which we DONT have today , unbelievable shots !!

  • DAMN!! The cross he put on newman? at 4:04 had Newman sliding under the basket.

  • 2:22 is crazy! lol he has the nicest looking jumpshots ive ever seen. they're so elegant and he jumps so damn high.

  • mike stepped outta bounds after that block on mayberry

  • MJ = G.O.A.T.

  • talk about some serious fast twitch muscle covered athlete. His quickness is simply ridiculous and combine it with cat like reflexes and you get a one in a lifetime basketball player. Also he is poetry in motion so beautiful to watch. I'm amazed no matter how many times I watch him.

  • Just saying at 4:20 that was the same shot that dirk nowitzki used to beat the bucks with a buzzer beater this season :P

  • He stepped out of bounds at 1:10

    but idc :P

  • micheal will always be the best

  • real king of nba not lebron

  • those hands......he simply has those big magical hands

  • NOBODY in history had the reflexes that Jordan had. Check the 50-52 second mark where he cleanly strips the ball and then instantly tracks it and flicks it away from the Bucks player before he can grab it. Love how he completely jukes the guy at 3:17 out of his shoes -- this is why you rarely saw bigger (6'8") defenders on MJ. They were hopeless against his quickness. The jumpers at 4:00 is insane.

  • MJ's redemption year, 1996, is basically an entire year of highlight games. Where Lebron has these games sometimes, where Kobe has these games a lot of times, MJ had it every time this year.

  • You know, i could never figure out why Jordan's career FT% was in the 80's. For such a deadly accurate jump shot I would have thought his FT% would have been more like Steve Nash's. OH well, Still the GOAT!!

  • @branden1010 jordan said during the HOF induction week that if there was one regret he had about his career, it's that he didn't focus as much on his FT shooting. considering he was a career 83-85% shooter, that's saying something. :)

  • @branden1010 hehe, true. It's why his free throw routine constantly changed.

  • the 1996 season was the best ever they only lost 10 games if im not mistaking

  • best basketball player ever no one can't question it

  • Comment removed

  • that has to be the best lookin 45 points the NBA has ever seen! sure kobe can get 45 but not like that, thats why he'll always be the greatest!!

  • 6:53 MJ's strong, after the foul the defender flies somewhere and MJ still has control of the ball and shoots it! No yelling "AAAAAAAAHHHH!" like that wannabe black mama!

  • That is some crazy lift on a jumper

  • GOAT

  • throwback bulls jerseys with the stripes

  • lol at 1:34 the bulls bench is like "yea wateva" jordans hangtime was time consuming dayum

  • that jump at 2:23 is higher than the vertical leap of when kobe dunks lol. simply unmatchable. 4:00 three guys defending for a jumper and still makes it with ease. typical michael jordan.

  • @brian05fubu Yeah, seriously - that's a crazy leap on a jumpshot at age 33 there. During the '93 Finals, Mike Fratello said that they studied Jordan's vertical leap on jumpshot attempts, and his average leap was something ridiculous like 32" or something...on jumpers!

  • @brian05fubu You're joking about Kobe right?

  • @jeyjey34 about what? Kobe's hops? no i wasn't joking.

  • @brian05fubu You're joking about Kobe right? Jordan shoots over three guys and it gets applauded. Kobe shoots over three guys and he's called a gunner. Hmm...

  • @jeyjey34 did i say anything about kobe shooting over three guys? hmmm...

  • Kobe does tend to gun sometimes..

MJ RARELY forced shots over that many guys, but when he did, he typically made 'em. Normally, he'd pass, cut & position himself to take a much better shot. Kobe on the other hand will look to size up a double or triple team, and force a shot up over it, typically missing, but the 1 he does make, you guys want people to give him credit for it, while ignoring the other 4-5 MISSED shots like this that he took in the game.

That's the difference between the two..

  • @RealFan357 True. It's why his field goal percentage is way below MJ's.

  • @RealFan357 What did you think of Kobe shooting over two guys against the Suns last night? He killed them in the 4th quarter and the Lakers needed every single one of his amazing shots.

  • @jeyjey34 hey retard what do you think about jordan having the highest scoring game in nba playoff history ?what do you think about jordan having the most 50 point games in nba playoff history? what do you think about jordan having the most 40 point games in nba playoff history? what do you think about jordan having the most 30 point games in nba playoff history?

  • @jeyjey34 what do you think about jordan having the most consecutive 20 point games in nba playoff history? what do you think about jordan having the highest scoring average in nba playoff history? what do you think about jordan having the highest scoring average in nba finals history? what do you think about jordan having the highest scoring average in a series in finals history?

  • @jeyjey34 in other words get the fuck out of here telling us about kobe hitting shots over the pathetic suns defense, who in the fuck was kobe guarded by? the 37 year old broken down grant hill? lmao, if grant hill was in his prime kobe would of had his ass handed to him you got that?

  • @zopoundsakpase I wasn't saying that Kobe is better than Jordan or anything. However, there games are similar. In regards to shot making, You talk about Kobe being guarded by Grant Hill. Grant Hill was a good defender even at 37. Who was Jordan being guarded by in this video? Johnny Newman? Lee Mayberry? Glenn Robinson? Haha! yeah, those are GREAT DEFENDERS... get outta here...

  • @jeyjey34 : srsly, what about the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons of the old? What about Gary Payton? Dennis Rodman? Michael Cooper? Dennis Johnson? Anthony Mason?

  • @jeyjey34 Suns have only one decent defender(Grant Hill) on their team, and the Lakers had Gasol in the middle to divert some attention. Granted that Bucks had always been terrible defensively, they were still a better defensive team than the Suns because you could play contact defense back then.

  • @PAZ0619 actually in the 80s the bucks were a great defensive team with players like Sidney Moncrief and Paul Pressey then on into the late 80s and early 90s they had defensive greats like Alvin Robertson and though defenders like Ricky Pierce, so either way you're right the bucks players are better than any players the suns team could throw at kobe defensively

  • @zopoundsakpase Oh damn thank you. I forgot those people could D better than Bruce Bowen. Sidney Moncrief was a monster on the defensive end, and he was a good scorer too. I bet he doesn't even know who Alvin Robertson is.

  • Comment removed

  • @jeyjey34 lmao bitch grant hill is a good defender? at age 37? with broken down destroyed ankles? get the fuck out of here moron. no he is not a good defender you stupid fuck, the grant hill that jordan destroyed during grant hill's prime was a good defender end of story, plus this is not a playoff game asswipe it's a regular season game ding bat.

  • @jeyjey34 here are some difference you need to understand cocksucker, jordan in this video is 33 years old and still busting players asses left and right. this bucks team had a higher defensive rating than any suns teams kobe has ever faced, so yeah, players like johnny newman shit on any suns player who guarded kobe in this years playoff. either way, don't come in here telling us about kobe shooting over people, so fucking what?

  • @zopoundsakpase Not to mention Johnny Newman was a decent defender for the 90s standards. Grant Hill is good defender for today standards, which defense is weak. So yeah, Hills defense of today would be just marginal in 90s standard, thanks to all the injuries that he accrued over the years.

The fact that Grant Hill is the best defender on Sun's team just shows how pathetic the defense of Suns. Kobe better shoot over 45% and avg 30 pts in the finals to considered as anywhere close to Jordan.

  • Comment removed

  • @PAZ0619 Keep in mind that I wouldn't even be on this video if I didn't appreciate the greatness of Michael Jordan. I'm not saying that Kobe is better than Jordan. But answer this. Why has Phil Jackson said in various interviews that Kobe's game is similar to Jordan's and that Kobe is better than Jordan in certain areas? He coached both guys. Type in the search "Phil Jackson compares Jordan and Kobe".

  • @jeyjey34 Do you actually believe that Phil while as the coach of the Lakers would dare to diss Kobe? Of course they are similar. But the question is, who is more dominant and efficient?

Kobe hit tough shots too, but he is also played with a more endowed team. Bulls had Scottie Pippen, but he was the only all around player on the team. Kukoc and Rodman were great but D-Rod was a complete liability on offense, while Kukoc on defense.

  • Not to mention Bulls had no good Centers on the team, other than Luc Longley was a great passer. Lakers has 2 7footers, and LO at 6'11. Artest was a mediocre shooter, but he is still a good defender. Fisher is old, but he hits big shots. Only thing they are lacking is toughness.

But the truth is, putting Kobe in the same or near sentence as MJ is ludicrous. Damn Kobe isn't even as good as Magic.

  • @jeyjey34 the defense was trash that was played against him, the player the suns had guarding him is ancient in grant hill and, kobe shoots 45 percent in his playoff career therfore, he misses more though shots than he makes therefore stfu cunt you lose

  • @jeyjey34 Johnny Newman was every bit the defender Grant Hill is, probably better actually because he was younger and more athletic here. When a 37 year old Grant Hill, never known for his defensive prowess, is your best perimeter defender...you have issues.

  • @jeyjey34 the fact is jordan can hit any shot kobe can, the fact is kobe cannot hit every shot jordan did, jordan is the toughest shot maker in nba history that's without question. tell kobe to drive to the basket sometime, he's such ass pussy that all he does is shoot jumpers,if the defense takes his jumper away he cannot go to the basket like jordan used too that's why he isn't shit compared to jordan

  • @jeyjey34 and they also needed every one of fishers clutch shots...yet again. why do laker/kobe fans jizz the moment he makes ONE or two tough shots in the fourth quarter. how about all the times he went isolation one on one and jacked up a bad shot early in the 4th?

  • @dmun5587red123 One or two tough shots? Kobe's done that for the past 10 years! And don't act like MJ never took bad shots. Go back and watch some of the Bulls vs. Knicks series from the early 90's. Jordan was taking bad shots with John Starks all over him.

  • @jeyjey34 kobe is the king at takeing bad shots jordans FG% is at 49% kobes is at 45% so that tells u that jordan made em more than kobe ya dumbass

  • @jeyjey34 Jordan hit just as many tough shots as Kobe did. Jordan just hit MORE shots, period, at a higher efficiency. Simply better at putting the rock in the hole.

  • @RealFan357 could not have said ANYTHING better than what you just stated. exactly what I try to tell every Kobe jocker

  • @brian05fubu & the funny thing is MJ was 33 ys old when he jumped that high just for pull up jumpshot.

  • @mnkhan2020 yea i know. just unbelievable.

  • Already 32-33 years of age here

  • the greatest

  • man, he's so good.

  • Pretty consistent game for MJ i think, 22 pts in the 1st half, 23 in the second. LOL. Pretty standard game for Dennis as well, 4 pts 19 rebs!

  • Watching this brings a tear to my eye the game of basketball is not what it used to be.

  • GOAT simply the best

  • Pressured, hand checked, double teamed, triple teamed....simply awesome. And this is Jordan in the 2nd 3 peat time period when he was past his physical prime!

  • r.i.p benoit benjamin

  • @samoanseb8 i don't think he died dude?

  • @samoanseb8

    Nope he's still alive

  • @diplomat65 LOL you are right...somehow I got Benoit Benjamin mixed up with Kevin Duckworth for some reason, similar players I guess...MY BAD! sorry Benoit!

  • Thank You Very Much. MJ Best Ever. these videos only reminds us why.
